Swansea was not just down to Rodgers, their rise started whilst Rodgers was screwing the likes of reading and Watford, Martinez started that ball rolling with Swansea.

The issue with Rodgers is one dimensional, his concept is good mainly copied from Swansea ethos before his arrival
But you need a plan b for me him not even giving Carroll a chance highlights he is one dimensional, a great manager finds a way to fit a top player in to his plans.ac would have been great coming on for last 20 mins like last years cup final against chelsea

 

Indeed, his passing game is possibly the most tedious thing I've ever seen. So much side-to-side, no penetration whatsoever. There's almost an arrogance that having the ball more means you will win. Not if you don't do anything with it! I marginally prefer watching us hoof it!

Laudrup has formed Swansea into a much more attacking threat, whilst getting the best out of their passing game. They're much more of a joy to watch now than ever before.
