Yeah - if he tires, he can always be subbed. But who would start up front with him - Simmo or Prossy?
He can hold it up yes but what else can Simpson do? I admit that Proschwitz doesn't offer much more but he is the lesser of two evils for me
Neither are goal scoring machines, that's clear to see. So what else do you want from your strikers? If they aren't finding the net they should be bringing others into play, which Simmo did well last night, it was a shame we couldn't string more than 3 passes together for most of the night. I've personally lost all confidence in Prossie, he doesn't look like he's up for it (mentally), IMO.
I thought Proschwitz offered more than Simpson last night but maybe try Simpson with Gedo to see if they can gel
I have to agree on both counts, Simpson's all round play was much better, he can hold it up to bring other people into the game and he's got a bit of pace. Whereas, I'm struggling to see what they saw in Proschwitz, he doesn't appear to have any redeeming features, which is a real shame as we all had such high hopes for him when he was signed but I really can't see him coming good!
I'd go for a 4-4-1-1 with this team Stockdale Rosenior - mcshane - Chester - Brady Elmo - Fathi - Meyler - Quinn Koren Gedo Can't see that happening but think it would work.... Or put Fathi at RB, Rosenior at LB, Quinn in cm with Meyler and Brady on the left.
Prossy was so awful last night, he couldn't hold anything up gave a daft free kick away before their goal and should of scored a sitter. Bruce was going mental at him as everything bounced off him, if your not in form the least you can do is hold it up.
Agreed (for once!) Also, I'll never have any faith in a player that comes on with gloves and his hands halfway up his sleeves!
