no coincidence that our leaky defence has been a lot better since vidic has been playing again. he's one of the very best defenders in the world, someone who plays the game to solely defend and its a massive clanger leaving him out imo.
welbeck close down high on pitch easing pressure on us, and is less tired than Valencia, his pace will keep some defenders back too .. all that will ease pressure on us but will be pick test for him today
This is the biggest test for Kagawa, I think. Tonight will more or less decide if he is here to stay. Also significant that Evans has been chosen, looks like he is our first choice defender now unless Vidic comes back with a bang.
I think sir Alex decided that prior to Everton game, this is why he replaced Evans and not him I think he is going easy with Vidic after his recent setback and injuries but yeah.. Vidic will be a big miss, but the replacement is Rio, so not bad at all .. but i prefer Vidic

And the same one that tore Bayern Munich to shreds at the end of last season. He started really well and then was out for a few months with injury. only one .. UTD play cleverly, carrick, Welbeck, valencia ..etc. all play for the team and do the hard work .. in Chelsea is 5 attacking players keeping the ball with no one interested to go back defending once losing it .. the balance is not there ..
1 season wonder? He was at Dortmund for 2 seasons and was of of their best players in both campaigns, despite missing a lot of the first season. Dortmund are a huge team, playing in a huge league. If he's given the time, and stays clear of injurys then he'll be a success I've no doubt about that.
