The name 'Jose Lorca' has become legend among 606'ers. Its funny how some users became obsessive over it lol. Was it you making all those accounts or wannabes?
a bit disrepectful to add that at the end. The victims of the earthquake have had a Traumatic time and there was no need to knock them down further....
Thanks for that... Its great to hear so much more(not to much of course) about peoples lives on here.
Some of them were, but a lot were EL_NANDO, and the rest were LewisWDC pretending to be me. I've only had one account with "Fernando" or "Alonso" as part of the name - the account was banned the next day. 606 is a complete joke, has been for a while - if enough fanboys complain to the mods they ban your account. Then they justify the ban based on "posting style" being similar to a previously banned user. My first 606 account got banned because they thought I was EL_NANDO! I agree about Buemi, this year he is stepping up his game and Algersuari doesn't improve, Torro Rosso will happily replace him with Ricciardo. I don't think Torro Rosso are the weakest of the midfield teams, as Williams look in a worse position. For that reason, I really want to see what Team Lotus can do against Maldonado. After that, they will have Algersuari in their sights. I may not be a big fan of Fernandes, but I really respect the team for trying to break into the midfield. You could see them doing much better in years to come. Can't say the same for Virgin and HRT.
I must agree that Alguesuari has not impressed me much either. I do not like the term 'journeyman' but he is simply not good enough and never was.
I think Alguersuari made a bit of a name for himself by battling closely with (and staying ahead of) Michael Schumacher very early in 2010. If his stock is higher than he perhaps deserves I reckon it's because of that. That and the fact his name was difficult to pronounce at first.
McLaren, as everyone knows, will be taking their Turkey upgrades and then some to Spain. Mercedes will have "an aerodynamic development package... along with refinements to our suspension package". They'll allegedly also have a new Renault-style exhaust system and are closer than any other team to emulating Red Bull's front wing. Sauber will have "a new, quite significant aero package on the car, which will be a completely new front wing, updates to the front and rear brake ducts, new bodywork, new devices around the floor leading edge and under the chassis, and we'll be testing the new exhaust system again." They'll continue to play with the blown diffuser and are expecting "a good few tenths of a second improvement." Williams will be trying out a new flexible chief engineer. Following a further Vairano test Ferrari should have aero updates. Alonso has said "We have a lot of irons in the fire and we hope that as early as next week in Barcelona we will have new parts that allow us to take an important step forward in qualifying as well." I also want to comment on nerd Alonso torturing the mathematics of the championship to death while Massa was busy having sex but I can't be bothered.
They will need to work harder than ever to get a respectable result, things need to improve. Anyway can't wait for the next race, I never know what is going on anymore lol
Ferrari have a few significant updates coming. I think it's quite important that Alonso talks about an "important step forward in qualifying". I assume this would have something to do with a more aggressive engine mapping, as they testing it in the Friday Practice sessions in Turkey but didn't use it after that. Ferrari also tested a new exhaust and diffuser in Turkey Practice. Again, this was unraced, but since Ferrari only announced they would only bring a new FW, RW and brake ducts, the plan was probably not to race with the new exhaust, but instead to gather important data and then refine the concept further in these two weeks. The new exhaust was blowing under the floor and they also had a perforated diffuser, similar to Red Bull. We should expect to see them in Spain: please log in to view this image please log in to view this image In addition, we might see a redesigned rear suspension, as was initially expected but not brought to Turkey. Another new part, that is rumoured for Barcelona (or more recently for Canada) is the flexible front wing. I don't expect to see this in Barcelona but would love to be surprised. Overall I wouldn't expect a huge gain from the updates, but I am expecting the gap to Red Bull in qualifying to be smaller. McLaren and Mercedes are also bringing new parts so Q3 in Spain will be very interesting.
It'll be a mix up in Quali. Everybody is catching up the idea of flexi-wings and I'm sure most teams will desire to have them.
Here's a look at Ferrari's rear end. As well as blowing the exhaust gases under the floor, they have also tightened the rear end: please log in to view this image The little picture in the circle is incorrect - it shows a pull rod suspension, which Ferrari don't have.
Red Bull probably have a new exhaust coming for Spain. Vettel had it on his car for Friday practice in Istanbul but he trashed it when he crashed.
Sorry, was just trying to lighten the mood a little bit, I didn't mean to offend anybody but I've edited it now.
Jersey, thank you. It was very tasteless. However we all envy you if it is true. Don't believe everything the girl tells you, you might get laughed at on a cold winter's day.
Autosport reports that Force India are unsure about what upgrades they'll be running in Spain but they expect Adrian Sutil to be much sharper and more aggressive, scything through the traffic given half a chance.
You mean he'll be cutting people up? He won't need to if he can spring a surprise by grabbing pole by the throat…
Whats sharper? Vettel's finger or Sutil's glass? I reckon it's like; what came first? the chicken or the the egg. Which will go on for years and years until a bunch of scientists spend billions of tax payers money to find the answer.
