After passing the 10am pitch inspection Adams Park is finally ready for the Chairboys to take on the League Cup Finalists for their first encounter this season after the game was postponed on 22nd December
I was sweating on this one having taken a days leave to go to the rearranged game
the Bantams are on a poor run of form in the league with their minds on the cup final in 12 days time while the Chairboys are unbeaten since the first day of the year and the stats for the last three read
    P3 W3 D0 L0 F6 A0
I’m not expecting any changes for this one Joel should have recovered from the knock he picked up on Saturday only one note of caution is Josh is only one yellow card away from a two game ban
I’m looking forward to another 3 points and our continued climb up the table :emoticon-0148-yes:

I don't think a draw would be too bad and put some fans off who think we could get a play-off spot which i don't think we're ready for, next season maybe.

I reckon 3-1, I think the youngsters are so confident at the moment. Let's hope this isn't the kiss of death.

I think Bradford will be keyed up to avoid any further slip in the league. The final is in 12 days, and they have Wimbledon to play before then, so I doubt that will be on their minds tonight. They will be out to go above us with a game in hand to keep their play off hopes alive. Their aerial power was too much for Villa so big Dave will be key here. If he can nullify that strength then we could snatch a narrow victory. Otherwise we could suffer a 3-1 defeat. I'm hoping we can continue our shut outs and score on the break a couple of times.

Anyone listening in? I've had to switch to the Bradford commentary because the Wycombe one is commentating on a different game <doh>

A bit relieved to not have conceded another. Half time talk badly needed now.

I had to listen to the Bradford commentary for the first 10 mins too. Makes you appreciate what a great commentary the WWFCofficial provide us!

****ing ref gives a free kick the wrong way and it's 2-0. This is the worst performance for some while, Just don't seem to be there tonight. Had to switch it off. That's the last time my wife is going to listen to the match. I blame her. <steam>

Men against boys tonight. Bradford caught us napping early and took the only real chance of the half.

Yes for the 2nd goal it looked like a free kick to us not them but they still needed to get the ball 90 yards up the pitch to our goal.

The penalty was the correct decision as Dave Winfield just caught the guy.

The officials weren't great tonight but they were not the reason we lost. We were simply beaten by a better more experienced side.

If you would have said 3 games ago 6 points from the next 3 games you would have taken it. So put this one down to experience with 6-7 players involved on the pitch 21 and under you will get games like this. Hopefully they can learn and take this forward.

No problem HB. Disappointing for us but your team were by far the better team on the night. Good luck in the final.
