On the face of it the West Ham game is a meaningless 90 minutes, Hammers down, us safe and with injuries, not worth watching, but is it.

It could well be a very important game for a number of players, ins and outs and the clubs future, depends a lot on how Bruce sees it.

In defence we have Mensah and Ned in their last game of their loan period, we know we need to buy and we know, or Bruce should know, if he intends to keep one, none or both. Will he leave one out and look at Lang because Lang could be our future and do a Henderson or Colback.

In midfield do we give Riveros one last chance, I think at best Bruce will be 99% certain on the future of Riveros so does he look for that last 1% or look at next seasons back up?

Up front is a key one for me, stick with the Sess Steed combo, one we know wont be our strike force or back up next term or be brave and look at Noble, Lynch or both, either or both could save us money so why not take a good look.

Bruce can go to play the season out and a drab 0-0 is on the cards or he can say go out and win a first team squad place, who knows what could happen then.

Reckon a lot of fans will be glad to see the end of the season now, it's slid into oblivion and it's just a case of where we finish.

People have made their mind up about bruce, and the final game won't change them. Win lose or draw, you know if it's bruce in bruce out.

Pointless playing mensah, he's lost the plot, not worth a place, so the young un should be given a chance.

Ned will play, not for his place but because we need him too. Bruce will know if he want him or not, and at what price.

Riveros may play, not because we need too see him, but because we are fairly limited on numbers, who knows he may shock everyone, but i doubt it.

He has to play noble up front with sess, the lad deserves a longer look at.

But the one person who must play, and will get the biggest cheer of the day is BOLO, win lose or draw, he's been a great asset for safc.

Get the season over, see what happens during the summer and start again, with who? anyone's guess.

I know what you mean about Bolo but not sure I agree. Bolo wont be here next season and putting all sentiment to one side should we not be looking at who will be here?

Yes Ned will play here or not because we dont have options but w could go..

Average age about 17, i can't see bruce making that many changes, don't forget we're still playing a prem team (at the moment) and it will be on tv. That team would be absolutlely slaughtered, and do no-one's confidence any good..

Not too sure about it being a drab 0-0 syd as both teams will have something to prove after crap seasons for both teams, although arguably West Ham have had it the worst. For me Bruce should give the fringe players a go why not have a look at them in what could turn out to be a very good game.
Mensah and his tantrum on Saturday has been well documented but, we've heard nothing from Mensah as to why he did what he did. I'd like to think he was that disgusted with his own performance he just wanted to get off as quickly as possible or he could feel another injury coming on, again nothing (that I've heard) from either party about what really happened.
This will be a lot of peoples last game for both sides and if they want to impress any new employers they'll have to go for it.

Ellis Short may have a say in how SB approaches the game, seeing as each step up the ladder is wirth about £800k from memory.
There may not be an opportunity for the youngsters.
I hope that is not the case.

I'm with Syd and would like to see us start with the team he suggests. I'm sad to see Bolo leave he is a good steady player and influence on the youngsters but this is no time for sentiment so I feel he should not play. However, 56Danny makes a very valid point when he reminds us that one place higher in the final table represents something like K800 a sum of money that I'm sure Ellis Short would like to see in the club's bank account.

On another front I heard on the morning news that the trouble at the West Ham party started because Demba Ba told a fan he was too tired to sign autographs. Seems to me if that was the case why was he at the party and how much effort did he put into the game that they lost. If the rumour miil is right Bruce is considering whether or not to sign him. Do we really want players cannot be bothered to sign an autograph?

I hear what you are saying Danny but Bruce could argue that the experienced old heads did not set the world alight against Wolves.
