Or will this be the "double engine" gate of 2013! We've had double diffuser, double DRS and now double engines, those Sauber smart 'uns! :p

Considering Ferrari provide the engines surely they would have the same noise? And Toro Rosso. Plus why has nobody else at track side noticed this?

Thanks for replying RR. It took some effort to write that response to SArrow's question, so it's nice to be appreciated.
    Cheers.

Ferrari at the top, Red Bull "hidden", McLaren was born well, Mercedes headache. Pros and cons of the new born to hunt for the title

JEREZ - There is a Ferrari with different problems from a year ago, but with less land to recover. There is a Red Bull continues to hide - in every sense - and impress the pace on the distance and the trajectories on the track, but this makes for some years now, the first test. There is a McLaren that this year, as in 2012 and not in 2011, was born well, although at the moment is one of the most "incomplete" aerodynamically. There is a Mercedes that will give many headaches Lewis Hamilton, who had expected the rest already. And then there are the outsiders: Force India looking for performance lap - there is always a team of "class" that makes it - to assess how much is Jules Bianchi.

Oops! Apologies for not seeing your response before, ASC. I found myself whizzing through the thread to get a feel of what was going on here, because I'd not looked in for a while. As for what you actually wrote; I've just read it and I should say it's nicely put and not at all amatuerish!

I avoided mentioning weight transfer because, to be consistent with what I'd already said, I'd probably have needed to dedicate a similarly lengthy description to it, complete with an explanation of 'trail-braking' –But of course, you're right that it plays a very important role, particularly during turn-in.

Having long ago found myself under attack in various fora, and because some associates may be aware of some contributions, my experience has been that failing to provide detail can lead to trouble!

    Cheers.

It's a fine line between being breif enough to get the messge across, and too detailed so that you end up losing everyone!

Your technical input on here is always welcome. If we can't understand it, our loss! <ok>

2 seconds seems a lot - that would make it faster than last years RB and doesn't confirm Lewis's statement in the lack of downforce!

So far only three teams have confirmed their line-up for Barcelona. I'll try and get more info tomorrow.

It's also meant to rain on the last day. Slight error with the Mercedes boys though <laugh> must be Sauber.
