Mustapha Carayol scored on his return to first-team action against Barnsley on Saturday and could feature again. Warnock has no new injury concerns and may stick with the same side that drew 2-2 with Wolves on Saturday. This could be Ross Barkleys last game for the Whites (if he is picked) as he is due to return to his parent club Everton after the match, unless Warnock can convince Dave Moyes to extend it to the end of the season. El-Hadji Diouf and Rudy Austin look set to return to the squad after being rested at the weekend. If Leeds can record a victory at the Riverside it will be the first time in 24 years that Leeds have done the double over Boro, but we all know how poor we are at midweek games. MATCH FACTS Head-to-head • Goals either side of the break from Luciano Becchio secured a 2-1 win for Leeds over Middlesbrough at Elland Road on the Saturday before Christmas. • Leeds have won their last three away games at Middlesbrough and last lost away at Boro in August 1992. Middlesbrough • Middlesbrough are desperate to avoid a sixth successive league defeat, so they can shed the tag as the only club without a Championship point in 2013. • They are still holding a play-off spot despite their slump, but last season they entered 2012 in second place with three defeats, and ended the season seventh after suffering a further nine losses. • Jason Steele, who has kept goal for every minute of Middlesbrough's Championship games this season, is set to make his 100th league appearance for the club. Leeds United • Leeds are the busiest club of the 24 in the Championship, going into their 39th fixture of the season in league and cup. • Saturday's 2-2 draw against Wolves gave them their first point in five on the road. • All three of Leeds' away victories have been against clubs currently in the bottom seven.
Should ****ing hammer these like we do every year at their place, but we won't. We'll scrape a draw at best I reckon.
I know it's not good enough. If we hammer them 2-0 or better I'll be happy. Even a 3-1. But if we scrape it, then I'll still be concerned. Then again, I'm busy tomorrow and won't be listening so I'll have no idea how we performed!
I'd take a scraped win over Middlesborough especially at their place considering our away form. I want us to dominate more games but more against teams we should be rather than teams who are one of the original promotion favourites
Im no cynic the club has got me thinking like this. Barkley comes in before Becchio leaves with the possibility of extending to the end of the season stinks to high heaven of the Delph loan move when Gradel (or was it Snod) went & we didnt extend. Lets hope its not another smokescreen & Warnock starts playing the kid in CM. We may need Brown to pick up another booking to see him out of the starting line up.
Same starting line-up as Saturday. No Barkley on the bench though which would suggest he's gone back to Everton.
Exactly - I said before I was amazed that there wasn't more uproar when Becchio left and instead people were getting excited anout Barkley and it was exactly the same last year when Howson (the name you were looking for ) was sold.

Me. Quaking in my boots too! For all the my big talk earlier of us not really needing to win, I desperately want us too. Putting pressure on myself. Glad I'm not there as I'd probably take my frustration out on the team.
