For all praise (rightfully) heaped upon Moyes, when has he ever gone to Stamford Bridge, Emirates, White Hart Lane, Anfield, Old Trafford and the Etihad (Since City have been good) and won? Everton under Moyes have been renowned for their industrious work rate and ability to make life difficult for teams away from home but at Goodison really take the game to their opponents. In my opinion Chelsea need 8 wins to guarantee Top 4, Spurs probably 8 (7 if they beat Arsenal) and Arsenal 10 (9 if they beat Spurs). Everton still have to play Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea away and City at home. I think they'll drop off. I think Spurs will beat Arsenal at WHL and it'll be a fight between us and them for 3rd that'll go down to the last day with Arsenal not too far off. Still think City will be alright in the long run, they'll get 2nd, Chelsea and Spurs (Chelsea in particular) lack the consistency to really worry them. 1. Manchester United 2. Manchester City 3. Chelsea 4. Tottenham Hotspur 5. Arsenal 6. Liverpool 7. Everton Spurs have a tough March and April, that can hopefully be where we recover lost ground. Arsenal have a very relaxed run in and seem to be finding their feet after a brief wobble. I think they may have just left it a bit too late. March will decide where we finish, if we **** up that month it could be curtains.
DL --I hope your forecast is right! There's an outside chance if we can beat City at their place we have a decent chance of getting a runners up spot!
i think we will go unbeaten in the big games..we look like a solid outfit...yes maybe not free scoring but we have stopped conceding. Its the games against those fighting for their lives that i worry about....i think city are there for the taking by both the London clubs. if only someone could tell Ade that hes back from Africa...we may have a chance.
I'd take 3rd now. Think we can take over City (as long as we don't lose at their place) but I just can't see us stringing 4-5 wins together to really push on. Really think it'll be 2 from 3 for 3rd and 4th between us and the N London brigade. Can't see anyone else keeping up and City will probably have enough to stay where they are. Hopefully we can beat Spurs at home and they will draw with Arsenal and that may make the difference.
3rd and a trophy would be perfect imo. Great platform for next season. Doubt we'll get either though. Can see Spurs going on a run.
At the moment, I believe that £ity, you, and us are contesting 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. I'm not saying the Gunners are out of the top 4, I'm just saying that they aren't going to be contesting either 2nd or 3rd. I don't see either you or £ity finishing outside the top 4. If we lose ground in the contest for 2nd or 3rd, then we'll be fighting the Gunners for 4th.
They already have. 10 unbeaten. Surely they are due a loss? If they are able to go 18/20 games unbeaten with the injuries/absentees they've had it's a damning indictment of how poor this league is. Spurs probably have the best chance they've ever had of winning at the Bridge this season, hopefully we can beat them and put more daylight between us. If we can do that and avoid dropping stupid points at home I think we will do okay. I don't think we will lose away to either Manchester club, but am 100% sure we will lose at Anfield. Cup Final for them.

I see United running away with it but why can't ourselves or Spurs catch City? If we beat City in 2 weeks we go 1 point behind them. That is doable given the fact they lost at Southampton and scrambled a point against Liverpool. We go there and attack and why can't we get all the points? Spurs v Arsenal is a big game. A draw would suit us to a tee. A draw there and we beat Spurs then we will have 3rd spot in the bag imo. I can see it being very tight between City, us, Spurs and Arsenal for 2nd down to 5th spot. City are good but when they get rattled they are there for the taken. I think Everton will get 6th, Swansea 7th and Liverpool 8th. Will be a good run in but if we win at City, 2nd spot can easily be ours given that City have to go to United, Everton, Spurs and Swansea.
We face all the top 8 bar United... Arsenal, City, and Everton at home Chelsea, Liverpool, Swansea and stoke away If we get 5 points from these 3 home matches and 8 points from these 5 away matches we'd have done amazingly well we also have West Ham and Wigan away which will be tricky too. If it goes to form we should beat Sunderland, Southampton and Fulham at home but I think there's a chance we'll drop points away to West Ham and Wigan. IMHO I think we'll fall short with it finishing UNITED CITY CHELSEA ARSENAL SPURS EVERTON SWANSEA LIVERPOOL
tbf I haven't looked into this, not looked at their fixtures yet. I mean a run of wins, I know people knock them but I think they've got a class squad. Even better if they'd bought a striker in window which is where they might come undone. Gonna be an interesting run in anyway and very difficult to predict. Definitely can't see Liverpool finishing above Everton!
if theres a god 1. Manchester United 2. Tottenham Hotspur 3. Arsenal 4. Everton 5. Manchester City 6. Chelsea 7. Liverpool
What really ****s me off about United running away with it as in previous seasons, is that thy haven't actually been that good. Van Persie has done what a striker should be doing i.e banging the goals in given a half decent chance but they haven't been particularly special. Played sensible football and done the basics. Hardly setting the world on fire with their skill and flair now are they? It's the lack of composure and cohesion from the challengers that has gifted it to them. Few can deny that Chelsea and City's teams are full of talent that Fergie would love to get his hands on yet the sum of their parts is less than the whole. The day we regain stability and some order in house is the day we storm the league again.
apparently he said England and not United. It's us or City. and due to the fact Roman and him are on speaking terms I have a feeling there's a conditional deal in place.
