i think Ronaldo will have a **** game against us tomorrow, here's why, ever since he's joined Real Madrid, all he's spoke about is, how he missing United and how fergie was a father figure to him, i can see the build-up getting to him but it probably won't.
Travelling squad for Madrid: De Gea, Lindegaard; Büttner, Evans, Evra, Ferdinand, Jones, Rafael, Smalling, Vidic; Anderson, Carrick, Cleverley; Giggs, Nani Valencia, Young; Hernandez, Kagawa, Rooney, van Persie, Welbeck
No way.. He is the consummate sports man. He will want to win. I'd expect nothing less from him. I want him to have a good game so IF we beat them we did it with him playing his best.
@DTguardian: Marca today has Wayne Rooney on its front. Inside: 'A football player and hooligan all rolled into one.'
Marca on Rooney: 'A freckled demon, built like a barrel packed with gunpowder is on its way to Madrid to try to blow up the Bernabeu.' #mufc
Marca on Rooney: "To look at him you'd think he was one of the 4,000 British fans on the terraces, there to support United." #MUFC Marca liken Rooney to a fan "yelling and drinking beer and jumping the queue to get in through Gate D". Strong stuff.
“We don’t have to wind him up before this game because when he is angry he is at his best,” he says, before joking: “So, let’s just be nice. We can say, ‘Welcome home, Ronny. It’s so nice to have you back, we love you, you are the best player’. We can kill him with love!” http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-F...al-madrid-and-cristiano-ronaldo.aspx?pageNo=2
my team for tomorrow night - De Gea Rafael Ferdinand Evans Evra Valencia Carrick Jones Cleverley Rooney RVP
He has been quoted as saying he misses us. Though I think he will want to score.. I hope he plays well.
fair enough but the way matt went on you'd think he was pining to be back. By no means does it mean he'll have a stinker aswell.
i'm not, he's said he misses the family atmosphere at United compare that to the one he's got at Real Madrid, his team-mates are against Mourinho, he would'nt have that at United.
Cristiano Tomorrow we’ll play against Manchester United, a very special game for me. Don’t miss it.

also notice how the first two papers post the same probably mislead drivel whereas the guardian posts something a little more subtle and probably more truthful.
