  1. By the same token, a scored penalty is a good penalty. I just knew we wasn't going to score it!

The point I was making is that with 19 efforts on goal, Liverpool were dominating the game chances wise.

You're right, they didn't have their collective 'shooting boots' on but my point remains clear and valid. <ok>

    Here's my take:

    Reina 2
    Johnson 2
    Agger 3
    Carragher 7
    Enrique 1
    Lucas 5
    Henderson 5
    Gerrard 5
    Borini 3
    Suarez 5
    Shelvey 2
    Downing 5
Coutinho - no time to register a score of any sort, but from what I saw, 2
    Sterling 4

Both, you win as a team and lose as a team.

I was so pissed off last night I nearly twatted a bloke sat near me who I've never seen before. He ****ing asked for it, but it's totally out of character for me. It doesn't help that my mate's bird has been diagnosed with rapidly terminal cancer and has a month at most. She's 45.

  10. Sorry to hear that pal. A lad I know as a unoperatable brain tumour and he's only 19 (ish). Proper **** and these things really started to hit home with me since becoming a father. About only thing that scares the **** out of me is the thought of not seeing my boys grow up. Thoughts are with your friend, his mrs and family <ok>

The whole team were garbage but the stand out worst players on the pitch for me were Glen Johnson, Shelvey, and Enrique.

Sorry to hear the news - RHC and Gerraz.

    Daniel Agger has tweeted:

'I agree with most of you. My performance the last 10 minutes of yesterday's game was NOT good enough. It's as simple as that!!'

'But thank you for letting me know :0)'

'Y.N.W.A!! That;s the best thing about this great club'

    Thanks Jimmy.

Was that an actual tweet from Dagger, or am I being naive?

I'm not going to comment much today as i think its too emotive.

I said to the rumour yesterday that if shevely was playing then rodgers was a clown. he was a clown. at least shevley tried i suppose, you could see he was out to prove a point but i nthe wrong position doing the wrong things and just being offisde permenantly.

Agger wants a slap. i'm totally sick of him never laying a hand on anyone when defedning setpieces and he looked shatterd at the end frnakly....

our tactics were terrible. with sturridge our rodgers reverted to the FAILED tactics that had nobody up front and suarez was disinclined to get in the box.... Clarke took one look at our plan b of taking two midfielders off for an almost 4-2-4 and immediately rolled forwards onto the pitch... we lost it and the tacitcal subs were made assuming west brom would contiue to sit 10 men back...

For the record we were not actually bad last night, but we were tactically inept, nobody got in the box besides shelvey who just wnet offside right away.... we missed an easy pen that gerrard second guessed himself over foster's record and then we fell apart as west brom cahnged tactics.

the reality is carra was good, reina as good, johnson and enrique did well, gerrard and lucas played really well.... suarez was too deep and never went forward... henderson was actually good too... downing was ok even.... there was a good goalie stopping us and then eithe roffisdes or stupid nobody in the box stuff.

We can debate it later i nthe week i think but we gotta start thinking about the future cos this aint it.

  17. Sorry MITO, but I think that is the worst thing I have ever seen you post. They were both woeful at best!

  18. Cheers guys but you really don't need to make comments like that to me, I'm not close to the lad in question and I've not seen him in years, it's a lad that is part of a family that was very close to mine when we were growing up, I baby sat for him a few times too.

However, I did lose my Nan sixteen months ago after a very long fight against cancer including an operation to remove it and lots of therapy too. Unfortunately it came back bigger and in an un-operational place (fortunately she insisted have having checks beyond the required period). She was in her mid-eighties and was 'ready' too <ok>

My mrs has had grade three cells removed from her lady parts in the last couple of years too, fortunately caught both times before becoming cancer cells. Caused by the complications of child birth (mentioned this previous RHC).

they both worked hard up and down. they both had zero targets inthe box to put it into and johnson ended up trying to run it itno the box or ran laterally. neithe rplayed badly.

enrique got a bit tired at the end but he also gave up on passing it and held it too long and dribbled in bad areas.... but it was done i nthe aim of trying.

peopel are saying they played badly... they didn't.... if you gave anyone zero targets to hit then they'd not deliver balls in there either.... sometimes i reckon a player like say johnson ought to deliver a cross to make the crowd go oooooohhh even though there's nobody and then berate their team mates but its pointless with shevely, downing and suarez cos luis only wants to run the channel or hang out on the edge of the box and the other two are not able to get the concept of getting ithe box and remaining on side.

Woeful??? no way... woeful is what agger did. he must have had 5 headers form set peices, he never attacked one and missed over the bar, he faield t man mark prperly and got destroyed for thier second.. thats woeful.

Was carra woeful in hoofing it out every time HE marked long? nope, just being carra.

was reina woeful pikcing it out fo the net having done everything right all game... nope. he saved the shot but then agger forgot to mark up properly and agin let someoen block off his run while his man got free...

Was lucas woeful? nope. i saw a few bad passes alright but he looked like he was bossing the defensive area

    Was gerrard? nope.

We were not that bad.. we lost 2-0 cos we were set up to fail i nthe first half then we threw the kitchen sink at it in the second but sending on borini and stelring meant we were 4-2-4 with no defending o nthe wings.. west brom could put on forward on and low the thing wide open cos they had more in midfield as well...

we threw the dice and hoped... west brom rode thier luck, the ref gave a dodgy pen... then they scored and we fell apart.... the thing is our cohesion as a group goes when we lose a goal like that....

We are all angry but i have to call a spade a spade, we made west broms day with our tactics but still made them look quite poor. if you don't paly a forward (suarez played too deep) you won't score many.
