It was the 23rd pass - the one he didn't make when we 3 against 2 - and fletcher was wide open on his right-hand side and he went left, where, I think it was Rose(?), was covered that annoyed the crap of everyone around me.

First half, he looked disinterested, but there again, most of them did.

Second half he worked his socks off, probably harder than anyone else. The problem is he has this habit of keeping his head down when he's on a run, and I can recall 3 other players' run's off the ball that went to waste, and left throwing their arms up in the air in frustation.

Maybe sess himself knows hes no good in the middle therefore uninterested wrong attitude yes but once he was shifted to the wing completely different player. Now let me think class on wing useless in the middle i know where i would be playing him from the start against west brom.A full 90mins on the wing and lets see what hes got and graham up top with fletcher.

He was on the right wing in the first half. Not in the hole. Alfie was more that player in the first half.

The thing is managers are doubling up and even tripling up on him. Arsenals goal came from Sess losing the ball in midfield but he had 3 men on him and no one to pass too.

I think moving him around is the solution because then the opposition manager can't easily assign 2 players to mark him. Once he was 1 on 1 with Jenkinson there was only going to be 1 outcome. Sess left him for dead something Johnson could not do for 45 minutes.

His biggest asset is his elusiveness and his ability to beat a man, for my money he should be given a roving role which means that he has to read the play better and get to the ball when he is not surrounded. If he/we can master this then all to the good but for it we need at least one more creative player.

Even though it appears to be screaming out to all of us, I just don't see MON starting 4-4-2. I hope we do see Sessegnon on the wing and DG + SF upfront.

Precisely... Football is a team game and if Sessegnon is being double marked, he ought to look up to give the ball to whoever is in space and unmarked by becoming a team player, that will force the opposition to give Sessegnon more space as they cover other areas. The problem is that we are sitting too deep, so the only viable option for Sessegnon is to pass it backwards or try and take on the whole defence which usually results in the ball being recaputured by the defence. Neither of which trouble the oppositions defence as they have time to regroup and organise.

The top and bottom of it is, if we played 4-4-2 with Sessegnon on the wing and Sessegnon was double marked, he would have more options of playing the ball forwards by looking for DG and SF or N'Daiye on the inside and hence we could break quicker and exploit the oppositions lack of organisation. If we are attacking, we are not defending and conceading freekicks and corners.

    Over rated....

Technically a good player, but it's give him a try on the wing, or give him time warming the bench.

Wouldn't disagree at all. Give him a run on the wing and let's see what he can do. If he cannot make the left wing his own then we will have exhausted our options for him.

It will/would be more than interesting to see 4-4-2 with Sessegnon on the wing. Perhaps the hands in the pockets attitude is a reluctance to embrace a defensive formation? The same reluctance that a number of our players appear to display from time to time (Bolton and Boro spring to mind both of which were as poor as any cup game managed by Bruce). Having said that, as a pro, he won't be on bad money and ought to do whatever job is asked of him.
