    The song was written under false names but was a Taupin/ John composition. It was the 1st EJ number 1 in the UK, but Croc Rock had been a number 1 in the states 2 or 3 years earlier.

    It was also a duet, which strictly speaking is not an Elton John song as he was not the vocalist in the the true sense of the word.

    Morning all from a snowy West West London and still snowing a bit - we have rotated a couple of techies in from India last week and for some this is the first time they have seen snow....

    Morning all, for once it is not raining, we have a blue sky and it is quite spring like. ;)

    Maybe I will put the lifebelt on and visit the far field today and see just how much water I have collected. First of all though a trip to the bank as I need to put some money into the account as Mme's car needs a new exhust pipe. €70 for a bit of light weight tin, but maybe it will last for a couple of years.:(
