Please give reasons as to why the press are against just De Gea (who incidently plays for your team) and not against Reina, Hart or Cech Plus I doubt you've looked at the stats for EVERY other keeper in the league so don't say 'stats don't lie'.

If that was Gea who did those mistakes, he would had been crucified by now so while the media kept buffing Hart moral and saying how good he is, they did the total inverse on poor Gea's moral in every single newspaper

I have looked at the stats by opta for every keeper in the premier league, and De Gea is at the top. The press are against De Gea because he's young, they jump on every little thing he does. The punch against Spurs wasn't really that bad when you consider how he was being impeded by even his own players, and he was very unlucky for that to go to Lennon. If other more experienced goalkeepers like Cech, Reina etc had made that punch nothing would have been mentioned of it. De Gea is just an easy target for pundits to pick on as he's so young playing in a position that usually is played by an older player. De Gea saves more percentage of shots at his goal than any other keeper in the PL, yet he's apparently a liability according to the press and pundits. Luckily SAF and the majority of Man Utd supporters aren't influenced by the rubbish that is spoken and written by pundits about De Gea
Was impressed to see our fans wielding an "In David We Trust" banner at the Fulham game. I'm still surprised at the rumors about us signing another keeper. Fergie himself has dismissed them as being idiotic.
