You know me too well! Unfortunately Mrs Swim would have the divorce papers and the CSA taking more than a pound of flesh if I spent any more time here. For that reason alone (she is the 1 person I am scared of) I will not volunteer! 2 nil WBA !

Thankless task, being a mod. I'd never do it but the right approach was that Sunderland guy who was the supermod. Even if you disagreed with him he took a decision and stuck by it. He used to say he didn't give a **** because it wasn't a democracy. Either deal with it or **** off. Definitely the right approach if a mod wants to keep his sanity.
I have already backed you Musty. So far, you are the only 1 stepping up. A Mod has to volunteer. You do not have to be an old hand to apply, if I'm not mistaken Ash/Chico wasnt when he took it on and he has done stirling. If you guys and Chico are ok with my proposal....show of hands! PS I'm sure Chico will pop a "job description" up or give you an idea what it entails if you PM him.

I agree with Norway, it really has become trashy here. This last week has been stomach churning with the week long QPR hatefest. Fair enough a lot of them deserve it, but it has become like a school yard. Petty, childish and just so bloody boring listening to it. Old arguments that were irritating enough the first time around being dredged up again and again. Then the in-fighting - Dai has been up to this, Dai said that....etc. It's just become so negative here. Some of the stuff written could have been written by 10 year olds - it's so pathetic. I'm not leaving yet, but the thought has crossed my mind recently - I have far more interesting things to do with my time than watch as the **** flies. It's like listening to women gossip and bitch all the time. There certainly is a clique formed here of certain posters who seem to encourage each other with this behaviour. I don't know the answer either - there needs to be some fire in the belly or the whole place becomes sterile and fake, but the flames have taken over at the moment and are burning the forum down. I dunno....
