Thanks again Cottager, cant wait to get back watching the Acadamy. I must say many of their games I have found just as exciting as our 1st team.
Here is a video clip of the goals. Worth a watch for the Tank's great strike and Mousa Dembele's easy flowing movement (and his Balotelli looks!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7zrzvh6Q88&feature=player_embedded

Like yourself Cottager,I cannot find any details of Fulhams Acadamy teams great win at Everton, who were unbeaten up till this point. A truly remarkable performance,The Everton web page gives some details, but once again we have to wait days/weeks for our press reports. Come on Fulham this is not good enough.
Everton 1 Fulham 2 (18s) The Club have just posted the briefest of brief reports, rosc. Not even showing the team. Pretty pathetic really! "Goals from Liam Donnelly and Moussa Dembele earned Fulhamâs Under-18s a 2-1 win over Everton at Finch Farm on Saturday morning. Donnelly put the Whites ahead shortly after half-time in the clash on Merseyside with a free-kick, before Dembele doubled Fulhamâs lead from the spot after Patrick Roberts had been chopped down in the box following a superb run. George Waring pulled one back for Everton with 15 minutes to go to set up a nervy finish but Steve Wigleyâs side held on for the three points."
Fulham o Everton 1 (U21s) Fulham were so unlucky to lose this League game at Motspur Park tonight. please log in to view this image The Club gave a first start to new signing Eyong Ehoh while Everton did the same with John Stones (the full back we had shown interest on in the January window). Both clubs in fact fielded strong sides. The Fulham team was - Etheridge, Donnolly, Kavanagh, Enoh, Passley, Grimmer, Williams, Smith, Woodrow, David, Davies Subs: Joronen, Altman, Minkwitz, Tankovic, Arthurworrey Fulham started brightly with Alex Smith getting forward in support, but it was Everton who had the first clear chance. Fortunately their forwardâs flicked header went wide. A break by Fulham saw their goalie fumble a Williamâs low cross with nobody close enough to take advantage. Ten minutes in Enoh made his mark with a fair but very strong tackle on Evertonâs Junior, who had to be subbed. Enoh continued to dominate the middle and made some excellent forward passes. However, on 20 minutes, completely against the run of play Fulham left McAleny free and he shot home from the edge of the box to put Everton 1-0 up. Fulham stayed on top but didnât have their shooting boots on. David (after a wonderful dribble), Enoh and Woodrow missed easy chances. David was unlucky with another effort, this time a cracking 30 yard shot that the goalie tipped over. So the team went in 1-0 down at half time. Fulham started the second the way they left off, especially Enoh who was getting stuck in. So much so that he got the inevitable booking. Alex Smith followed him in the book a few minutes later and a bit harshly in what looked like a 50/50 ball. Everton were dangerous on the break though and only an excellent save by Etheridge stopped their goal scorer getting a second. After the hour Enoh came off for Ronny Minkwitz. Five minutes later Alex Smith hit a stunning volley which only just swept over the bar. And 2 minutes later David hammered another 30 yarder, this time a free kick, against the bar with the keeper beaten all ends up. Fulham were still well on top and a great run and cross by Sean Kavanagh was headed over by Simon Davies. A free kick from Simon Davies was put out for a corner, which was followed by an almighty scramble in the Everton 6 yard area. Somehow they managed to get the ball clear. Ten minutes from the end Omri Altman came on for Cauley Woodrow. Then Muamer Tankovic replaced Williams. A couple of minutes later a curling 35 yard shot from Simon Davies thumped the underside of the bar and the rebound was put wide. Then a shot by the âTankâ was blocked and Grimmerâs header was well saved. Into extra time and Minkwitz mis-hit a bicycle kick and then a speculative 40 yarder from Davies was high and wide. Unbelievably Everton survived the second half and went away undeserved 1-0 winners. Of the new boys, Enoh was outstanding before he came off. He showed class but will need to pace/temper his game more when in the premiership. Chris David (looks like heâs stayed off the pies in the last couple of weeks) was lively and really unlucky with two long range shots. Simon Davies (well heâs as good as new!) took a back seat in the first half but really impressed in the final twenty minutes trying to drive the younger players forward. Hard to believe we lost !!
Could not make it tonight but thanks for the in depth report. Looks like there are some good signs for the future.

I was reading tonight that one of our better younger players is going on loan to Farnborough Town. I find this rather dissapointing, as Tom is a regular with the under 21 team, and I know that the quality and class he is playing against, is of a much higher level, than Farnboro, if the club deems it neccissary, for a move then let it at least be to a league side. Acording to the Yeovil web page Dan Burn is growing in stature, confidance and ability,as the weeks go by,would these comments have been made if he had been plying his trade in a lower league conferance side.
Indeed, would they have been made if he were playing in the reserves? Non-league may not be a step, but surely genuine competitive senior football is worth a crack, even for a short while. It also gives other players a chance to show what they can do for the reserves.
Won't be the youngsters though Bidley. The only reason I can see for Donegan going on loan is to free up a place to give Enoh, Frimpong, Kara et al game time. I accept Jol needs to use the U21s as if they were the 'reserves' and as he sees fit. But those month loans ... ah well, I've voiced my opinion enough on the 'Loan' thread.
Good point about Dan Burn, and one that's worth remembering the next time someone grumbles about us sending players out to league one teams rather than Championship sides. I think Bidley's right, there's always some value in the young players getting regular competitive playing time. A higher division is probably better, but I don't see a non-league loan as necessarily being a bad thing.

Unfortunately it's an 11am ko on February 23rd, the same day we play Stoke at the Cottage with the re-arranged TV kick off time of 12.45 !!!!
Fulham 3 Reading 1 (18s) Wasnât able to get to Motspur Park this afternoon. By all accounts though, it was another terrific win by the youngsters in the League. The team was - Oberschmidt; Passley Arthurworry Burgess Evans; Roberts Sambou Hyndmam; Tankovic Williams Dembele Subs: Grainger Donnelly O'Reilly O'Halloran Richards Moussa Dembele (what a goal machine) got two first half goals and completed his hat trick in the last minute. The Reading goal was from a penalty half way through the second half.
