Seems we are all geared up to be the big Welsh club in the Prem now so just thinking of whats happened to our little neighbours down the M4 in the past .

Seems that every manager they have had since winning the lottery to the Prem has left them after pledging his loyalty and allegiance to the club , Won`t be long before Lattrap or whoever is temped away by lets say AV , Brum or forest .....

I for one think he will stay even if offers are made as he knows how big this club can be with the support and the massive financial backing in the offer .

MM too loyal a manager to do a "jack" on us and we all know the Prem is not what it used to be , its two leagues in one really with even the small teams getting results against the so called big 5 .

For me MM will take us to be an established Prem team with a home record yet again to be proud of .

If the likes Man Utd, Real Madrid or Barcelona approached him he would jump ship in a heart beat.
If the likes of Chelsea, Forest, Man city or Blackburn approached him then I'd say no chance.
But if Arsenal or Liverpool came in I suspect it would take them some persuading but ultimately he may go. Other than that I think no chance he'll stop with us.
It's all about ambition and MM has ambition to test himself at the highest level. If he proves himself then we have to come to the realisation that he would leave.

malky will move on at some point, he's a good manager who has spent the money he has been given wisely.

swansea are a stepping stone for managers, it suits everyone that a manager comes in and does well for them, and moves on to bigger and better things.......

but back to us, i dont want to get ahead of ourselves but i think we more should be wary of tan making a rash decision and doing a southampton and sacking the manager who has got us there to replace him with a foreign name, than malky moving on.

Stupid comment Phil - you're getting worse mate.

If he was sacked, at least he'd have had no choice. Martinez and Rodgers walked out on you. That's to point of the thread.

Standby for Laudrup to do the same thing given the chance.

Malky wasn't exactly loyal to Watford. There are clubs with pretty large pulling power in the PL so we'll have to wait and see.

The way the game is now, players, coaches and managers are all just passing through. Us fans are the only constant at the club. We are here for life.

Sir Alex has to retire at some stage in the next 2 or 3 years, so who's gonna replace him? An established old war horse, or a young, ambitious, energetic and charismatic leader? Come to think of it, sounds like Fergie in 1986...Scottish too...

To emphasise my point, take a look at this article:

It really takes the buscuit! Barcelona, Man Utd, Real Madrid, I almost choked! MM would turn down The Bridge for legoland? Just how deluded are are crapdiff fans! I can just imagine the headlines, 'Real Madrid sign MM and he vows to bring his style of football with him, fans look forward to hoofball'! Stoke far more likely, surely?

Brendan showed what it's all about, faux loyalty when he thought Martinez was liverpools choice. As soon as they said the job was pretty much his he couldn't get up the m6 quick enough!

Malky and just about every manager on the planet will do the same. If Chelsea offer him the job (they definitely won't) he'll go. He wasn't interested in Norwich as I do honestly believe we could be a bigger PL club than them.

    What a load of rubbish.

Martiez left for a Premier league club, Rogers left for a bigger club.

Obviousley our team does something well for bigger clubs to want our managers.........something you have never exprerienced?!?!?!

MM has been with you a season, and already you think he's "that" loyal.

Watford fans would beg to differ.

Now your an 'established' PL team you can start with that **** can you. You heard the same when you were going up from other dickheads who still believe despite all the evidence that there's a huge gap.

We'll get hammered at least a couple of times if we make it but we're far to solid to not hold our own enough to keep us entertained.

The phrase "Doing a Jack" means to do a runner .

Most people of my generation are using this now to describe anyone or anything that does exactly whats said above.
