Harold wasn't slow doing that Saturday after a poor first half giving two sloppy goals away ... we all know they should of been caught by Cesar or a run wasn't covered ... The third goal was the turning point as I could see us coming back and to be fair we didn't give in after 4 goals. Swansea play great football but any honest Swans fan know inside that three of the goals were very sloppy
I do not agree that we are playing not to win in any game. Col something you have to sit at this level and then when the time is right nick it ... every game at this level you will get chances. we have to take them ... we play open at the moment then we will lose ... look at Saturday as Swansea opened us up like a tin of beans ... we gave loads of effort chasing shadows did we not ... remember the 3-0 we got against the swans last season ... i watched that from S block and we made them look awful because we contained them and pressed exactly at the right time
We parked the bus against Swansea, with 5 in midfield and no recognised striker. We got well and truly hammered. It's not working Dave, we're not good enough defensively. I can just about understand it up to now and with Remy being injured, but from now on we must go for it. Utd will love it if we just "sit in" and let them dictate. They won't love it if we go at them and get players forward. They'll win, almost certainly, either way, but I won't have had to sit in my expensive seat and watch us let the opposition completely dictate the game. The game-plan of sitting, being strong and trying to nick a goal on the break works when you have the ability to break quickly and get men forward. We never get men forward in numbers and unless that changes, we won't win enough games imo.
