    I know....<yawn> etc.

But, the half year financial results for Celtic are published - they do not include any revenue from the Juventus games.

    Headlines

    Half-year profit
    £14.94m

    Turnover
£50.06m (71% increase but then, we had to cover some **** for other teams last season and had no CL)

    Bank debt
    Net bank debt is £0.13m

    Pretty ****ing rude health <ok>

Not for the first time today, I wish I could rewind time about five years and have a word with those folk who moaned about Lawwell not "spending to bury Rangers" etc.

If ye were a shareholder ye would be loving that, given that there's more cash to come from Champions League!!!

Good to hear. And another minimum £5m to come from the two legs of the CL plus Scottish Cup and SPL prize money.

Plus I expect one of our good players to go in the summer for £7m+ so I don't think we're be calling in the administrators any time soon.

Who cares Timmy? Club and company are separate - the finances of the holding company are irrelevant and have no bearing on how the club performs on the pitch (and vice versa).

Pud I am sure all Celtic fans are delighted with these figures and more to come
against Juventus and hopefully another one or two more glamorous European ties.
I can see no reason why non shareholders would not be happy with our
    Playing and financial success.

That is true... good to see a strong team and a strong set of finacial results ...we can support Celtic without fear of administration and with continued success on field.

I have not said that I am not a shareholder. I tend to keep private matters about
    myself just that.
My point could be better understood by fans, true fans, would be well pleased
With the club's figures whether they profited as shareholders or not.

Master of Glesga, As a true fan ( your definition ) of the dead
Rangers and soon to die Rangers International, I feel sorry for
you losing all your money twice, once careless...............

If I was not a shareholder I would be very angry with the figures. Non shareholding fans do not understand that the books must be balanced, they want big money signings and big wages, but they dont want to use their own money.
