You've won it and to be fair most fans would have started celebrating too if their rivals were 2-1 down with minutes to go. Did you start posting about being champions, Matth, prematurely. Most fans would to be fair
Just out of interest, what would convince people that the PL isn't mediocre? An English club winning the Champions League?
I admit i did it on here last year but i've learnt my lesson, like i've said many times on here today, i won't start celebrating unless we've got a game to go to confirm that we've won the title or we've already won it.
Well then we're golden. The current holders of the CL are English and the league was so strong that they only managed to finish about 5th or 6th last season. Magic. Sorted. Welbecktastic.
the only thing wrong with the league this year is probably the amount of 0 0 dire draws there have been, there seems to be at least 1 every week unlike last season, if there wasnt as many then it would be more stretched out.
If by 'mediocre' you mean not as good as expected, I'd agree even the bottom 3 have sorted themselves out, at one point it looked like there would be one or two clubs that struggled to even get 20 points. Not very high, I think we'd need all the stars to align for that. I'm thinking we'd need Dembele to stay fit and return to form, Parker to stay fit, Bale to stay fit, Ade or Defoe to start scoring regularly and our defence to stay in form, even then we'd probably need Chelsea and City to continue dropping silly points here and there. 3rd is quite possible I reckon but so is 5th/6th so I'd still snap your hand off for 4th
well its in your hands Yid if you win your next game and Chelsea beat City as you have them both to play, anythings possible with them 2 teams
