Very decent, that. If Harry left us, I too would back Sam to get us out of the Championship. So long as we ditched him once we got promoted.
I like Igor's comment about an unknown (presumably capable) Euro manager like Swans got with Laudrup. However (cautious disclaimer needed here) IF we lost 'Arry, Stainrod's suggestion's a good 'un. I rate Big Sam, don't care what he looks like. He's one of the few solid gaffers out there. I'd have him as a top choice in any league.
Hmm, let me see. You are about to be demoted at work and the boss says "You have to give up your company Jaguar but you can have this Lada Riva instead" No thanks.
'...Not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved Rome more (and thought there may be a promotion in it for me)'! Adkins wouldn't be a bad bet. Question with him is were Saints a two off or can he repeat stuff like that elsewhere.
No way in hell! We in dire need of following the lead of a team like Swansea and having a football philosophy that matches our heritage. Allardyce is not the man for that job.
The last thing we need is another Warnock, a man that can get us up but we will want to dump straight after. We need an up an coming manager that will be good enough for the NPC and then the PL. Then we will have a team full of hoofers not good enough for the PL. We need a team and manager that will be good enough for the PL with minimal turnover. Have we learnt nothing?
Dave's right, in that, I don't see the point of discussing who we want to manage us in the Championship when we aren't mathematically down yet.
If there are any admirers of the beautiful game amongst the payers, staff and owners of QPR, this kind of suggestion should be the perfect motivation for them to pull their fingers out and keep us up.
Ssshhhhh, it the opposite of counting your chickens. Karma will hopefully bite us in the arse by keeping us up!
