West Ham have announced Big Sam's contract talks have been shelved until the end of the season (when his contract finishes)
He's never been universally popular with Hammers fans and the board and I can see him getting the boot once he's secured their Premier League status with Harry returning to his old stamping ground for one last hurrah in the Premier League. And with us needing a quick promotion from the Championship, what are the odds on Big Sam taking over at Loftus Road next season? I'd love Harry to stick around but fear it won't happen when West Ham come calling. So would anyone else fancy Big Sam in charge at the Hoops?

If Harry goes I'd certainly have him as manager in the Championship. BSA and Colin are at their best getting promotions.

Not me under circumstances I can't watch football played like this. If we have to change manager again then we deserve to laughed at ... Keep Redknapp now at all costs.
Also we aren't down we are not relegated and have 31.6% of this season left and every chance that we can escape and stay in this division.... can't we focus on that for the time being

No. I said Sam IF, AND ONLY IF Harry goes.

    Not a swap, FFS!

Im with you on this. I don't think we are down yet (although i'm not stupid, it looks likely). Only today i looked at the next 5 games for all the relegation cadidates and the others have very tough fixtures and if (big IF) we can get 2/3 wins it will be game on again.

If we do go down we need major changes and need to learn from past. No ex players coming back to manage, no big name boys, we need tried and tested.

Fair enough, but what kind of football are we playing now?

I shared your optimism before the weekend. But sadly, that's been snuffed out by that performance. I'm confident we'll get a 0-0 against United but we simply can't win games like others around us have started doing. We desperately need to win games and yet we've got one half fit striker and another who appears to have a groin made out of wet tissue paper. I'll still give it plenty at games but in my heart it's over

I believe we should get an unknown manager if harry decides not to continue at LR. Someone from europe that nobody hates and he could be like a fresh breeze to this inflamed atmosphere.

I would hate for the Rs to become the club of Big Sam "Toad of Toad Hall" Allardyce. Absolutely hate it. Can you imagine it?

At times very good football they way it should be played ... How we played against Chelsea, Spurs and the Cities recently we were in those games ... Saturday we got a real learning but theSwans are now capable of giving anyone a good game in Europe. I hope we give United a good game at home on the 23rd as that may even be a easier game than the swans in their own back yard now
