He's nowhere near as delusional as the Spuds in that video, you can even tell he wasn't sounding so serious, unlike the Spuds who were dead serious in their delusional rants.
Yeah, of course he was Most Tottenham fans, like most Arsenal fans, like most neutrals felt Spurs were going to finish above Arsenal last season. That wasn't delusion. There's a huge difference between delusion and the not unrealistic expectation that Spurs would not collapse like they did. It's like Arsenal fans that thought RVP would stay, it wasn't a preposterous scenario so can't be considered delusional.
EVERY year. It was'nt just last Season - Every year for the last 8 Seasons Spurs have talked about overtaking us and about being the better team or having the better squad. Surely that IS delusional??! It doesnt help that the British footballing press seem to hate Arsene though. Most Season's we get CRITISED for not spending, then told we are going to miss out on a Top four finish. Then when we make the Top Four (again and again) we get put down because we did'nt win a trophy. While Tottenham get praised for well doing worse on arguably a bigger budget.
