To be perfectly honest, anyone who can help assist or stick the ball in the ****ing goal is a Godsend for us at the moment. It's so frustrating being in such a promising League position and knowing you could miss out on your best chance at Automatic promotion due to the fact we missed out on a striker in January.
You're just not getting the rub of the green. I have no idea how their keeper (im not going to bother spelling his name) saved that shot from Elmohamady, before he got his hand to it I said '**** sake' because I thought it was in Having said that I thought Brighton created more chances, were the better side and ultimately deserved to win. You'll be alright. Just stay in the top 2 of the playoffs so you get that vital second leg at home.
Am I missing something, only I'm pretty sure Boyd is an attacking midfielder, like Koren. If so, why are we targeting him, surely we should be going for an out and out, goal scoring striker?
I think, given our away form, we would much rather play all of the play off legs away (providing we don't get in the top two of course).

A wiseman once told me that "Stikers don't grow on trees". Charlie, you tell me what out and out goalscorer is available for loan at the moment?
Simeon Jackson isn't an out-and-out goalscorer and Jerome isn't available. Hence the reason he's playing for Stoke on a regular basis. After talking to some Norwich fans, they've all said he's been disappointing but just needs an upturn in attitude. Next?
If you want a goal scorer you have to pay big money like we did for Chris Wood. Teams arent going to loan out a goalscorer are they?
Exactly. We missed out badly by waiting 'till Deadline day - as per usual - to make dealings. We always have one prime target, and no back up. Example - Prime target - DJ Campbell Option 'B' - Nobody Outcome - No striker apart from unfit Egypt International Gedo. I was hoping we grabbed Kevin Phillips but... Burnsy from BBC Radio Humberside Tweeted that Steve Bruce has made an enquiry about George Boyd though a few days back so either that's fizzled away or we should be expecting him to arrive sometime soon. He could play just behind Gedo/Proschwitz with Koren, Quinn, Meyler, Brady and Elmo in the midfield.
I think the only way round this is you offer for example Burnley 4M to loan Charlie Austin and then agree to sign him on a free transfer in the summer You need to find a team that isnt going to challenge for the play offs and isnt in trouble of getting relegated though
We've already had an approached for Simeon Jackson rejected, so he's not available either. There are plenty of Premier League strikers not getting a game at the moment, it's just a case of finding one who's surplus, whilst also being fit enough to hit the ground running. Man City might eventually decide it's a waste having John Guidetti sat on his arse every week and let him go out for the rest of the season.
This isnt gloating but it just shows how lucky we are that we have 2 strikers that can score goals Hull only decent striker has missed the whole season and its a doubt he will play at all this season
... let's hope not - dangerous ground on two fronts -Spain just won a European Championship without playing with ANY strikers and in terms of 'in-form' strikers, my tip for late charge dark horses, Blackburn, just seem to have struck a rich vein of form that leaves them just outside the play-off zone with one Jordan Rhodes hitting his 20th goal of the season ... think we all need to be looking over our shouldeers at Blackburn ... they have spent far more than anyone else in this division and have now also added the dubious talents of one Dudley Campbell to their challenge ....
