    Yesterday showed why SAF is the difference in the premiership. Most clubs relax after winning he title. Blackburn and City showed how difficult it is to keep that motivation and hunger going. City's players play as if they should be respected and expect to roll over teams like Southampton and QPR without putting in the hard work.

    Well done to the saints! Thy did themselves a massive favour. It was not a question of hard defending or luck. They won fair and square against a very poor lethargic side.

    Both quotes have been used before, usually by people wanting to disparage the other sport. My personal favourite is the Oscar Wilde quote (probably a bit mangled):

    "Rugby is a good way to get thirty hooligans out of the centre of the city"

    That's on a par with "Golf is a good walk ruined" <ok>
