Snowing and freezing cold up here - not a good day for venturing out. Not that I will be after my lunchtime exploits yesterday. I had fancied a warm salad for lunch, so mixed up some chicken pieces with jerk seasoning - the label on the bottle said medium hot but was obviously on the wrong bottle as it blistered my mouth & tongue on the way down.

I was quite right to worry about what effect it would have on the way out this morning. :(

If a win, a draw and a defeat were equally likely the chance is 1.16% - so across four divisions and a 40 week season you would expect on average it to happen twice per season :)

Hammering down here...even the ducks are sheltering. Hope the snow keeps away from Heathrow next week...especially Wednesday.

I hope the afternoon's rugby is entertaining...and an away win of course.

Turned into a very good week-end with England putting on a very disciplined display in very difficult conditions and a hostile atmosphere - great display of kicking by Owen Farrell.

Agreed but his knowledge of quantum theory is somewhat lacking. I did check his autobiography but it didn't help me with Schrodingers cat.

Now we're at the right quantum level, did Mrs Slocombs pussy have the same choice? Quite sure it proved the theory as Mr Grace knew what state it was in.......

Speaking of trivia - was at a trivia quiz night during the week where the outcome was quite contentiously decided by the question: What was Elton John's first number one hit? The 'winning' answer was 'Don't go breaking my heart' - anyone agree with me that that is wrong?
