As you well know, even though you're pretending otherwise, this has nothing to do with mistakes. A mistake would be closing or deleting a thread when a poster has been accused of being a racist thereby denying him any recourse to fight such allegations.

This is about you refusing to comply with the wishes of a substantial number of contributors, who, at the end of the day only want to enjoy swapping views about football and Hull City. Now you can pretend all you like that such posters are anti-banter or anti-multi club contribution or anti-anybloodythingyouwanttodreamup, that wont alter the truth that the ONLY thing they are anti are those whose only purpose is to ruin an otherwise vibrant forum simply because they enjoy doing so.

So you can believe you are fulfilling some useful purpose if you like but until you throw me off this board for expressing my opinion, I'll continue to point out you are doing a really sh1t job of moderating this board.

Very generous offer...but I feel to fairly compensate we'd need to chop off at least one leg on each of our outfield players, except for our strikers naturally, they already seem to have that one covered !

 

If you go to the board rules at the top it says 3) We don't act like arses with each other or be otherwise offensive. Just today I've seen somebody labelled a '****', I got called a twat for absolutely nothing, probably because the person writing it knows that it's OK on here. There is more than a little clique of people using this board, there are a wide range of people of varying ages and backgrounds, it's not like that CI hellhole site.

 

Can we have a vote? that would certainly be the right way to go about it... I don't get why the mods don't ban him. Are they just trying to be good samaritans? fair? democratic? who the **** gives a ****? ban the guy and let's move on. The quicker you do that the quicker we will. They should do. I even noticed that there was a thread because somebodies dad had passed and he was even on that, looked pretty inappropriate to me like he was taking the piss- did nobody else see that. Please block him from the board.

 

Give them moderator ability and suddenly they turn into righteous self absorbed do gooders... sadly they end up doing **** all that's actual useful to the people that regularly visit this site...

 

Oh aye, nothing like spending a bundle of time striking a balance between what cica wants when a significant number of board users want the exact opposite. It's not seen because it happens discretely in the background so people don't have to wade through pages of threads like this one.
