Now get yourself home and lead us back to our rightful position: London top dogs and a good cup run.

Mikel will be a huge plus against City, missed badly although Fat Controller never played him anyway

true, wasn't he injured before going away though? tbf I have rated Luiz massively in the holding role.

Different player, totally agree mate. I had my doubts over him here but if he can play in that role he has a bright future at this club. Him and the improvement of Moses and Azpiliceuta are probably the only positives to come out of FC's reign.

I reckon Luiz and Mikel would be decent, allow Luiz to roam forward more which he's more than capable of doing.

We also need JT back, back four suspect to awful mistakes without him, maybe with the exception of Ash.

Agree about Moses and Azpi, they've been absolutely brilliant. Azpi potential world class RB in a few years.

Pleased to see fans finally recognising Luiz.Hes made a great job of midfield, and with a decent CD hes a great defender as well. JT and Cahill are both too slow to partner him in defence, he leaves them 2 mtrs behind when going forward and so a gap is created.
Maybe more correct to say hes too quick with JT and Cahill ??
We now have the problem of how to fit in Mikel, because Luiz Lamp
ard pairing is going like a train. Nice position to be in, it just needs better input into setting up the team with better balance when rotating . Coco needs to suss out the oposition line up better.
Anyway, welcome back Obi and Moses, both have been greatly missed.

As far as i know Mikel was voted player of the tournament. We also had Omeruo playing Centre Back for them, keeping Yobo out the side. Great for his experience and will certainly help him in the future.

Cant understand why Mikel gets so much bad karma on the Chelsea board? I think without him we have been vulnerable.

Watched every Nigeria game. Omeruo bossed Drogba in the quarters and was impressive throughout.

Mikel and Moses had great tournaments too, topped it off by winning the whole thing

I think Pitroipa of Burkina Faso got best player, which was as well deserved as any

Mikel is let off the Leash by Nigeria and shows what attacking skills he has. We should do the same, he,s wasted as a simple defensive mid, he has lots more to offer.
