Raylor and HBA look to be joined on the sidelines by the Gouff given he was led from the field of play by stretcher yesterday. Further details are awaited of any additional absentees.
I would imagine that Pards would rest a few key players for this game in line with recent practices.

I honestly don't know what team we will see on the pitch so it's a tough call. I would hope we would win, so giving us a strong chance of progressing to the next round, where Hannover or Anzhi await.

 

We can't afford to underestimate them, but with relegation a possibility, we will almost certainly put out the reserves. Hopefully they step up, the most disappointing thing this season has been the low quality of the replacement players in the squad.

I'm saying 2-1 win.

 

Ahead of this tie, United have made the following alterations to the squad registered with UEFA:

Added: Massadio Haidara, Moussa Sissoko, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.

Withdrawn: Mehdi Abeid, Demba Da, Brad Inman, Dennis Knight, Conor Newton, Xisco.

I'd like to see Goffran play CF if he's fit. He's looking good.

You'd think that would be more than enough to get through.

 

Pardew will come up with something bizarre

Would love to go on a cup run however I would not want to see any of our main men playing ie cisse,cayabe,sissko,tiote,colo,Ben arfa as the premiership is number 1 we can't afford injuries
But maybe if we contine to progress and our safety is sorted than start playing the big guns

Did they put out thir full strength team today? I wondered why they would play a freindly vs a team like Whitley Bay, but having checked thir profile it looks like they've only played 3 'competitive' games since November. Not sure whether that will help our cause, but I can see why they wanted a warm up match.

 

That would be interesting.
