Assist from Boyd ... must be a sign ... <whistle>

Just goes to show how much of a one-man team Leicester really are. <laugh>

Well I called 2 outa 3 of the results, if not the actual scores, and I'm taking the draw at Cardiff as them losing! So, 14 mins til the City humping of Brighton begins.

Bad weekend for the top 6 oerall. The only real winners were Cardiff City who are now 11 points clear at the top instead of just 8 or 10. Oh well.........

With the benefit of hindsight, I'm pretty happy with the weekend. Gaining a point on the two teams above us was a relatively minor thing, as it's bound to be nip and tuck in the coming weeks. But we got one of our more worrying fixtures out of the way (as much because of the international break as the opposition) and Leicester's run of straight victories is at an end. I don't fear anyone's squad, I don't doubt anyone's ability to beat anyone else on their day, but momentum is something you should never underestimate.

Leicester's ability to go on a blinding run is why I fear them more than Hull for the promotion race, even though Hull are far and away the best team we've faced this season.

I think you're mistaking 'best team' for 'best performance'.

For example, the best team we've faced this season is Cardiff and thats the same for everyone.

The best performance we've had against us this season was Palace who effectively tore us a new one.

Spin it how you like Andy, but the best team to have played against Watford in the league this season were Hull City, by some distance. I'm sorry if that measure doesn't meet with your approval. With the exception of Blackburn, I don't think anyone has been luckier to win against us this season than Cardiff.

Most people looking at Watford's results would ask why I don't give Derby a bit of credit, and the simple answer is that a Conference side would have put three or four past us that day.

Forgive me if i'm wrong, but Hull came and effectively took you to bits? Right?

Well, Palace did the same to us. I.e its the best performance by any team against us this season.

Cardiff came and scored 1 to our nothing with 1 shot to our 20 odd. They looked like a mid table side but are top on merit. They are the best team in the league.

    See what i'm saying?

Football wise i actually fear Watford more than Lesta. My hope is that lesta beat the Udders in the cup replay tonight and have to postpone more league games. Mess up there fixtures etc etc etc. In saying all that its now down to Hull City to do the business.

    Tonight's 'rivals' - Boro v. TWS

You'd fancy Boro.....but a draw would suit us (or, possibly, Leeds to win).
