Scored his 3rd in three games for Hearts yesterday. Hit the bar twice from range as well. Hearts fans are going crazy about him (http://www.hmfckickback.co.uk/index.php?/topic/124271-ngoo/) If he keeps this up... will he be involved with us next season?
High praise indeed from the Hearts fans, hopefully he carrys on in this form and comes back with a hatful of goals
His physical frame could make him useful if his technique continues to improve. Lukaku for instance is really coming together at West Brom with that mix of power and prowess.
I always thought he was a gangly player. One who needed more balance. Is the Scottish league equivalent to league 1? Also a lot depends on the supply line to him. One thing is for sure tho, in that clubs should send more youngsters out in loan and then give them match time instead of opening the cheque book
i was expecting after him being unlucky with the first 2 shots a crappy tap in, but well taken goal. he does look like a good player, signs look promising and maybe the loan is doing him some good, as i don't remember him being like that good in the reserves.
He wasn't ready for first team action with us obviously but getting that first team football can bring on players leaps and bounds sometimes so good luck to him. As with most young players who go out for some experience he's now at an important stage of his development. How he reacts to this loan spell will say a lot about him and by the looks of it he's responded well so far. Whether it's N'goo or someone similar it would be interesting to have a more physical presence up front sometimes. Certainly when we play the hoof ball teams like Everton and Stoke anyway
Billy! You should know by now that you can't say Everton are a "hoof ball" team on here. School of Science will get all mardy again!!!
When he was in our reserves I was really only impressed by his physical presence on the pitch but then thought it's only because he's in the reserves hence he doesn't have anything real to offer. However, he's done well at Hearts and he might well be proving me wrong. I find it interesting that they're talking about his skill as a footballer on that forum and not the fact he can score a header or 2, so perhaps he can have a place in our team next season especially as Rodgers seems to have the balls to introduce youth to the team.
Same thoughts. From that video he still looks quite gangly and not at ease. His shots were all hit and hope too tbh. Still think he will improve though.
Good to hear that he is continuing on his goal tally.Who knows when we get him back he will continue banging them in.Or if BR does not want to include him in the squad we will get a bit of profit by selling him.But before we sell him we should give a chance back at our place
Looks like a mobile and aggressive Emile Heskey! Somebody argued his shots that hit the crossbar were hit and hope, you could equally argue that he has fantastic awareness of where the goal is? Hard to judge playing in Scotland, but on his wage and at his age surely worth seeing how he develops with regular games!!!
