Can't say I'm happy we will be spending another season in championship but with current threesome of Warnock bates and gfh ruining the show, I think well be better off. This lot have shown they can't run a championship club on or off the field so god forbid they would get their hands on the wealth of the pl if it should happen. gfh have brought nothing to the club, half price season tickets that only a handful bought and no investment. Whoever and whenever the next owners or investors arrive, they will need two things, deep pockets and an understanding of Leeds united and what the fans require. Sme sort of half decent football is needed to sell tickets. Even Saunders ridiculed our style of long ball yesterday and that's coming from a manager in bottom four. We need to see young players playing the game the way it should be played, on the ground. A radical overhaul is needed while we still have a fan base. If this continues for many more seasons, I fear we could become another Sheffield Wednesday, or Coventry, pitiful small crowds with no chance of ever being a top flight club again. This stuff will be discussed to death in the coming months, but that's understandable as there is little on the pitch left to talk about except our cup runs
Its not over yet Eire. But defeat against 'Boro on Tuesday will almost end our season. If that happens, I hope Warnock walks & we get Adkins in to build for next season
eire the old chesnut that some fans use that were not ready for promotion for whatever reason is of course a load of codswallop, gates would double, confidence and delight would be huge, huge money from sky amd parachute payments if needed etc etc etc, we have the best manager avaliable for promotion, were i would agree is that GFH have turned out to be a massive disapointment and if it his them and bates that seem to have a stanglehold on the club then the future is us being at best a mid to lower champoinship club, unless some local investors come in i dont know what the answer is ?
Of course promotion would mean huge payments etc. My beef is with current regime of warnock bates and GFH. Would you trust those three stooges with 60m sky money. I wouldn't that's why all three need to go.
I wish you'd stop assuming that GFH are exactly the same as bates... all they've done is not spend a fortune in the January window, which is stupidity anyway. It's a conspiracy theory and it's boring. bates can go, Warnock can go, but don't judge these guys until they've had a chance to really show what they want to do with us. They've shut bates up, which suggests they dislike him as much as we do.

GFH actively looking for investors doesnt suggest the wealthy backer we were promised on takeover day is around. As I've said, based on what we've seen so far, I dont believe any of the three would be of use to us in pl. That was Warnock's decision though... he offered Becchio to Norwich because he was that desperate to get Morison in. Warnock needs to go, but getting rid of Becchio isn't GFHs fault. Under bates, and if GFH were the same as bates, we'd have sold Becchio with no replacement lined up, the money would have gone missing and bates would have slagged us all off going on about how the sub-par loanee replacements "cost money" (but then magically become free when he's not in charge...). That hasn't happened, it's not the same. The manager is now the problem, so get rid of the manager and get someone fresh in. Let the new owners do their thing and stop ****ing whinging about it, complaining about the football because for the first time in 8 years the football is the only problem we've got.
Well ye, stop judging them before they've had chance to do anything. They are not ken bates. We called for an end to bates and when it arrives some people just refuse to believe it. How negative can you possibly be? The team is ****e, but the club has a bright future, for the first time in forever.
Marko, you really ar talking a load of bollocks. GFH have done absolutely nothing of note to move this club on. Warnock wheeled & dealed this window because he didn't have money to spend. Simple as that. He gave the board a list and we only got what we got. It was the board that wouldn't pu up themoney for Burke. They have also consistently failed to connect with the fans. We have no cluse as to their strategies or policies. They have continued (as far as we know) to run the club almost exactly as Bates did. Half season tickets? At Bates rates? Very popular. Not! Only 350 took them up. Cheaper tickets? Only for matches that they couldn't sell anyway. It was an act of desperation to counter the dropping attendances. Policy of reducing ticket prices in future? Not a hint of it. Tell me what they've done to convince you. You must be an easy touch. Need any double glazing?

The same Burke that the minted Nottingham Forest also refused to pay £750k for... 350 is better than nothing. They were between a rock and a hard place with the pricing, they would have to offer partial refunds to 10 000 season ticket holders, to the tune of about £2 million, in order to justify selling half season tickets at a reasonable price. The fact they are willing to do any of this instantly makes them better than bates. Remember his policy of no concessions? Good ****ing riddance to it. I just can't understand why people are judging the new owners so harshly. The state the club is in, CANNOT BE FIXED OVER NIGHT, why are people expecting it to be?
100% Marko. The whole GFH are just Bates in disguise argument is, frankly, idiotic. Would Bates agree to do a fans Q&A? Would he agree to reduce ticket prices? Would he sanction bringing in half a dozen players during a January transfer window? Thawing relations with the BBC and City Council? Of course not. GFH have been in charge for less than 2 months FFS! Give them a chance!
