Looking forward to it Eire. Real rugby where you don't HAVE to give the ball up after a mere 6 tackles. Despite the rain, should be a good game, hopefully with England getting their noses in front early on & staying there.

I went over for the match with a couple of my Irish mates.( never been to an International and know absolutely nothing about Rugby Union, just sounded like a good day out)

7.55 am flight (started drinking the black stuff at 6.15 in Man airport).

Taxi to Bewleys Hotel for breakfast.

    Taxi to The Temple bar.

    Taxi to The Lansdowne Hotel/Bar

Walked to the Aviva Stadium (brilliant)

Watched a close game amongst some top Irish supporters (I'm English). Drinking lots of warm, spiced Bushmills.

Taxi to Shanahan's on the Green. Delicious steak, good wine.

Went in a couple of bars after out dinner ( pissed by now, no recollection of their names)

Taxi back to the airport, just as the England team checked in.

    10.55 flight

    Taxi back home.

I had booked Monday off work as a precaution. Wise move.

A great day, even though it never stopped raining.
