Leeds manager Neil Warnock: "The frustration for me is that we have just played Cardiff City and Wolves and we should have had six points and I have got one out of both games.... "It is all right for the players; they are all young and they can play for years to come. I am not sure which part of this statement I am in greater bewilderment about, that he really believes we should have had 6 points or that the players are ALL young and have many years to come
Dont think he said all players were young but this is standard rubbish talk most managers seem to practice these days. They just try to blow up their team, I suppose some may fall for it. Successive Liverpool managers have gotten away with claiming they were the best team in every game while in really they are worse now than five years ago. Keeps the masses happy seemingly. Personally, I only listen to a handful of them Holloway and Di Canio being two. Thats just for the entertainment value and not the content either
Agreed Eire. 6pts from the last two games wasn't quite the rubbish that some have suggested. Cardiff were very lucky last weekend. And Wolves weren't that impressive yesterday. We just still haven't a settled side playing good stuff all the time. Not sure we'll go up this season. But it isn't going to take much to knock us into a very strong team. Just ask the strong Spurs team we beat a couple of weeks ago
We don't pressurise teams enough. Both these games we could have been out of sight by half time against opposition that didn't show up. All our attacking threat is gone, half by selling players and the other half by Warnock beating it out of them
Fecking hell, your'e right. Ok he's lost the plot or thinks there's ten more years left in Brown and co
