If Lichtsteiner cant play that is a huge boost for us, obviously Pirlo is a big danger to any team but the right back is huge for Juve, good defensively, quick, dangerous going forward and will be up and down the right side all night long, some engine. Pogba is turning into a serious player, Man Utd will regret letting him go, I fear him and Giovinco who isnt the biggest but very tricky and can finish. If this wasnt Parkhead on a European night you would have to fancy Juve to notch up a cricket score but anything can happen in Paradise on these nights, Juve are the best by far in the strongest Italian league for years, but we are at least getting them at the right time. Conte is world class also, top gaffer.
I'm starting to get excited now, landing in Glasgow at 5pm tomorrow and got my ticket sorted now . Meeting up with a travelling Juve fan and a couple of old pals when I land and hitting the town tomorrow night - any suggestions on entertaining foreigners in Glasgow without risking a stabbing?
Take a trip through Allan Street and Sunnybank Street, couple of minutes away from the stadium, make sure to sing Celtic songs and remember to be derogatory towards the Brigton Derry while on the way through.
Many people are never likely to forgive him for ruining Celtic's Champions League debut, not least manager Martin O'Neill whose fury saw him sent to the stands, and Neil Lennon, who slated Amoruso afterwards for "conning" the ref. But today, Amoruso freely admits it was never a spot kick. He also asserts that it was the "first and last time" in his 18-year career strewn across 14 different Italian sides, that he simulated in such a fashion. "I do admit that it was definitely not a penalty," Amoruso said. "I had only been on the pitch for a few minutes, there was one ball in the box, and the Celtic player was near me. It was never a penalty, but the referee gave me the decision and I scored it." Time to move on? Or will he forever be a dirty, cheating, diving, Eyetie bastard?
That penalty started two trends , first our horrific away record in Europe then secondly some disgusting penalty decisions against us in the champions league .
Merchant City Mick. Lots of nice bars and resturants, try the Merchant Square, there's an O'Neills in there I think.
http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/...-arrive-in-glasgow-ahead-of-the-celtic-match/ You can smell the fear.
I can still remember absoultely raging at the telly whilst watching that cheat take a dive. I was all for driving to Turin and having a square go with the fecker. Forgive and forget? It would be the mature thing to do, but that was such a blatant bit of cheating that I'm not sure I can. I would be happy enough to put a horse's head in his bed, but I can't find any - there all lying around in Romanian meat factories, apparently.
I'm over it Anyway the scales of justice have tipped...no more will we be pumped out of Europe on a dodgy decision...it'll just be because we deserved it Juventus 4/5 tonight on bet365
Tell us, Harold, tell us how Rangers/Proddy's were involved. Remember in the Uefa cup clash against PSG in '95, when P McStay called "heads" at the toss, but the ref let P Le Guen choose to shoot into the Rangers end because the ref knew that PLG was going to manage Rangers further down the line.
