Over the years watching saints on tv I've never seemed to be able to see out the whole game as I've convinced myself I'm a jinx and we blow it towards the end ,just seems to be the territory supporting saints lol BUT I just have this feeling that under MP I may just be able to sit and watch the whole game ,we won't win every game I know but I just feel we will be competing and stay in everyone ,can't see a 6-1 result like the Arsenal game happening again
On your last point about the 6-1 defeat, when was the last time that we were easily beaten by a side in a league game?
Good question... going backwards through our losses... United certainly didn't find it easy, Sunderland deserved to win but it wasn't easy for them, same for Liverpool, so you'd have to say the last time we were comfortably beaten and didn't put in a real fight was West Brom on November 5th.
I think Liverpool did beat us fairly comfortably. They had bucket loads of chances and we didn't look close to scoring. I would probably say Liverpool.
I'm talking about over the years we have had a fair share of heavy defeats and games where we just havnt turned up ,my point is Under MP,s style of game can't see that being allowed to happen
It's better to be at the game...I never leave whatever is happening, but the only game I have watched all the way through on TV was the Arsenal game at SMS. Thought we played so well that we were likely to win. Last night, I went to bed at 3.1...cannot bear it, however much I try to convince myself that I have no effect on the result.
