Which do you want?

  1. Stay up, however we do it

  2. Play good positive football even if relegated

Does this mean we should stay up, even if we get relegated?

I'd also go with '1' but only if we do in fact improve the team in the Summer. Otherwise, I just don't see the point. If we manage to stay up, and next season continues in the same manner, it'll be a '2' from me.

If it has just become a business where success over entertainment is paramount, then it's no longer for me.

Can't vote from Tapatalk BUT option 1!

Look where we are financially, I have got patience to see what the transfer kitty is once the bills are paid. Let's give it another season before bitching too much.

It's not about bitching ! It's about paying a lot of money to go and be entertained.
That for me is the bottom line, enjoying taking the kids, taking the afternoon off and enjoying the whole experience win loose or draw! But at the minute under CH it's painfull !
Old Catton under 12's are more entertaining on a Sunday morning than this lot !

Rome wasn't built in a day.

Second season in premiership and staying up is all that counts.

Next year should be about establishing ourselves as a mid table side. To do this we will have to win more games, which means when we play certain teams away or at home we will need to be more positive. Away to the better teams we will have to play like we have the last few weeks.

Financially we are becoming much stronger and provided we stay up we should be able to strengthen the squad signifiantly. I wouldn't be surprised if some of this years established first team players become squad players or move on. I don't doubt that some players that played a key role in the last 3 years will go.

Hughton is going to play 4-4-2 with holt and Becchio

    Holt gets injured

Hughtons options are, revert to 4-4-1-1 or replace holt in the 4-4-2

Hughtons options in the 4-4-2 are Jackson(who has been shocking recently) and kamara, who arrived 2 days ago (is he ready for 90 minutes?)

Yeah, I'd have gone 4-4-1-1 as well.

I'd have brought on kamara earlier but I had no idea what the time was because the goddam screens went off at carrow road. Maybe the useless ****ing stewards sat in the computer or something.

Something needs to be done. These people are employed to help us in the event of an emergency and in their current state I wouldn't trust them to steward a game of junior monopoly.

If we were playing this ****e football AND getting results I wouldn't give a flying fcuk, however, we're not. I'm voting for option 1 but if we don't seriously spend the mega millions on quality in the summer and improve our game, Hughton can get on his bike. We have a proud tradition of playing fast free flowing passing football that was first instilled by the great John Bond RIP. Under Hughton we will soon be disliked as much as Stoke if we're still playing the same way next year. <ok>

I'm with Beefy and Jarold on this one. CH clearly said after the match that he had intended to play both Holt and Becchio, but Holt's injury prevented that. Kamara didn't come on earlier because he isn't match fit and CH was concerned about injury because of that. I also think that there were positives yesterday - Hoolahan and Snodgrass were both outstanding, City had 15 shots (8 on target) and the defence played very well. Fulham came with the intention of keeping it tight and trying to nick a goal and that also made it difficult. I also thought Becchio did well against two very good CHs and Kamara's brief cameo showed promise. Had one of the 15 shots gone in, then there would be few complaints, but the priority for me is definitely staying in the PL.

Sorry Dave. Got carried away with all our brilliant attacking moves yesterday, been having trouble with not606, couldn't make my comments load. Have now rectified voting. (I hope it records). Nope, doesn't record.

I sympathise with Chippy's view that some people are paying alot of money to watch a fairly uninteresting game of football, but KIO's post seems ridiculous to me - we were nothing like Stoke - we actually passed the ball well along the ground, just had no intent to pass it forwards. Joe Allen at Liverpool would be a good comparison.

If John Ruddy looks in on our board he may have something to say to JRFan -- along the lines of "Appreciate your support but, to make one thing quite clear, I certainly DON'T want to be a Championship keeper next year thank you!" <laugh>

Some of the opinions I've heard from fas have been laughable. Literally can't take any sort of pressure before screaming "Hughton out"

Plus we were dead lucky that 4 teams below us lost yesterday although Saints and Villa have both won. The gap is now just 6 points from safety.
Without some penetration and desire in the opponent's final third - whoever the hell they are, we are nowhere near being safe yet, so all the people talking about where we should best strengthen next season are getting way ahead of themselves.

I had running battles with fans on twitter last night, some saying 'take the positives, it's another point and clean sheet' which it is - but we need to win some games, ffs.
Clean sheets alone will NOT keep us this this frickin' division next season <grr>

This break in Abu Dhabi is perhaps a good idea, because palms are going to get ****ing sweaty before the end of the current season.

Never said we played like Stoke, I said we would be disliked like them for the way we play. Stoke play hoofball and are disliked for that, atm we're just plain negative and boring to watch and if it continues we will also be disliked. I hope that makes sense ? <ok>

For anybody with the "positive" attitude, despite being happy with a point, we are now one point nearer the bottom three. Personally, I don't think we will go down but those with the "positive" attitude are the ones making the remarks about safety and the need to accrue points. I wasn't the best at maths at school but three beats one in my book every time.
