Is it just me or does this kid not know how to control a ball? He couldn't trap a bag of cement lately.

Cisse is a goal scorer but he isn't getting in behing very often this season and his confidence is low. I think he's putting in real graft and that for me is a quality these days and I'm sure the goals will come again.

His confidence is ripped to shreds, he's a poacher who has amazingly been played on the right hand side of midfield where he has been more than disastrous. He's just not long got back to his forward duties which is pivotal as he is a forward. Give him more games and he will regain his touch and his killer instinct.

Exactky and considering we have the like of Jonas playing bad every game bar Chelsea it's harsh on Papiss.

I can't quite tell if the Cisse of last season is the real one, or if he was just in an insane purple patch last season and this season is more like the real him? I hope its the former, maybe just needs to bag a few and the rest will follow?

He was good in patches today. Little flicks, some nice control, but he's got little awareness of offside and isn't much of a threat.

I think he was held and tugged in the box lots today, and bullied in open play. Some days you get fouls, sometimes not. he didn't really have a sniff at goal, just a header which was a difficult chance. Think he'll return to scoring ways with abundance soon if we play like we did in the last three games going into the rest of the fixtures.

He had been on a decent(ish) run lately too.

Been really impressed with him lately. He's only chance today was a tough one and he was stretching for it. He looked a bit stranded in the 2nd Half it seemed we were playing for the draw 2nd half.

In the premier league you need to be hitting the target as a minimum
    A really poor effort

I thought he was terrific yesterday, his all round game was very good. Sissoko was quiet though so he lacked a bit support.

With a decent run of games actually playing at centre forward, with the likes of Cabaye, Sissoko, Le Gouf (fingers crossed) and hopefully Benni sometime soon, all supplying him then I think he will get back to bagging goals regularly.
