We are still only 6 points ( barring crappy goal difference ) from 17th place. Shows how tight it still is. Unfortunately, goal difference doesn't lie and unless Remy can lace up a pair of epic scoring boots fast, we are surely done for.. Like some, I won't give up until it is mathematically certain, so lets hope for a miracle of biblical proportions!

Well said, 'surreyhoop' ........... I was going to write precisely the same post, till I saw this. Yes, thing are looking tough but basically, I don't think we are worst off than where were were before the game.
I'm sure I will be disappointed... That was precisely what I was saying! ( unless we start scoring a shed load of goals..)
i think I've been privately acknowledging the facts to myself since about October. My best pair of rose tinted specs have allowed me flourishes of optimism but this time we really have left ourselves too much to do I'm afraid.
As a Saints fan the results this weekend have so far gone much better than expected. I think we are now on the way to safety with twelve matches left for our rivals to make up six points if we are to be relegated. I can't see this happening. I posted on your board before Christmas that i have a bit of a spft spot for QPR but was a bit concerned that Redknapp had taken up the reins at Loftus Road. When he managed Saints he was a disaster yet he never managed to quite have the devastating effect that he had down the road in Portsmouth where he heroically saved them from relegation when they looked doomed only for the financial implications to practically destroy the club and ultimately ensure that they would drop through the leagues pretty swiftly. I feel sorry for the Rangers fans but I think Redknapp can't save you in the games that remain and the financial burden will threaten the future stability of another proud football club. There was amusement of the St Mary's terraces yesterday with reports in the paper that Redknapp was already commenting that he had received interested from "big clubs" for the services of Chris Samba who has probably not been at the club for much over a fortnight! Harry is generally bad news for clubs unless their directors have limitless pockets!!
You could of course be correct on the second part of your hypothesis however you cant be nine points adrift because one fixture is Reading v Wigan.Of course it does increase the chances of you being seven adrift,
Thanks for that Thumby! Another ill-informed piece of dog-****e that, quite frankly, is becoming tedious and just a little irritating. I refer you to numerous comments from our board that our financial spending, whilst an obvious punt at keeping Premier League status, will in no way endanger the future of the club. We are nothing like Portsmouth in our structure. Now.........do us all a favour and go away!
Yes, it's over and better to accept it. We are truly down and dusted or we were that already before christmas. We are medicore championshipteam at best. It's time to concentrate next season and think about which kind of team we will have there. We still can cause some nasty suprise to our opponents in our remaining matches so there is little bit something to wait for.
You need to get a life mate, nearly every QPR post i am reading you seem to have a say. Best get back to your sister as the beds getting cold.
