Yet again another poor performance, how does this man get to referee games. It must surely have been a free kick when their goal went in, I know the rugby season has started but you can't just run and barge someone out of the wall. Obviously this was the worst thing IMO but he made really bad decisions against both sides tonight.
Attwell's first ever Premier League game was us against Blackburn, since then he's regularly been demoted from the Premier League for getting decisions wrong. The talentless **** should never referee another professional football match, he's ****ing useless.
He's the FA's golden boy + a useless twat to boot. Why the FA can't see how crap he is I will never know
Tonight's officials were f&£?!ng shocking really pissed me off if your paid to do a job watch the game people literally falling over n getting free kick.diving n bot getting booked ref n linos had shockers. Brighton full of diving puffs!
Koren, Elmohamady and Brady were diving, too. He was absolutely shocking, but at least he was consistent
who was the ref who disallowed geovannis goal at Burnley a few years ago when he said Oli had fouled someone in the wall. I suppose all anyone wants is consistency. however, he missed a few things but apart from the goal, their CF's proposterous dive, and indeed the equivalent from Koren, from which we got a free kick I might add, I didnt think he had a bad game
Koren's wasnt a dive he lost his balance avoiding a player, and i didn't even see the Elmo one but i agree on Brady. Personally i don't think he was that bad, hardly the reason we lost the game was not the ref.
Absolutely bloody stupid, how can he not penalise that. But I can never understand why when an apposing player stands in our wall, why don't we stand someone right behind him. Then when he gets out of the way we still have someone there.
Mackail-Smith slips over with Hobbs turning away from him and the lino who is about five yards away gives a free-kick. FFS fella take up stamp collecting or something. Then a City player slips over and the ref gives a free kick with the nearest Brighton player about five yards away. I know reffing a game is difficult because I treid, but at times some of these jokers define logic.
It was the same thug that led with his elbow on Quinn, not even a yellow, that took a two yard plus run up into the wall. In both cases these incidents were clearly in Atwell's eyeline. This is the same official who disallowed a perfectly good Geo goal against Burnley for an infringement in the defensive wall no one else saw. We know Atwell is at best incompetent, the word cheat may be to strong biased certainly is not. That said the thing that really sticks in my throat is the attitude of the pundits who seem to think that cheating is acceptable, wonder if this had happened against a Man U or Chelsea what would have been said.
The ref was ****ing awful, and he did seem to give more in favour of Brighton than he did us, but let's not ignore the following facts: 1. It was Evans AGAIN who gave away the free-kick; 2. It was Evans AGAIN who was a little ***got and let El-Abd push him out of the way at the free-kick; 3. Once again our wee kiddywinks have choked under pressure
It does not alter the fact that the goal should not have been allowed. You are not allowed to barge a player out the way like that. A blatant foul which could cost us an automatic promotion place
Cause he was the ****ing reason. He shouldn't of allowed the goal for a start. You can't go barging a player out the way. A blatant foul.
It's not like it was a bit of jostling. Evans was stood still and the Brighton player ran at him. You'd have to be extremely strong to stand your ground in that situation.
