Yeah and we are miserable as sin after losing to Brighton. Always nice to get acknowledgements from other clubs though, hope Leicester Town can cope with tougher teams than Peterborough.
he should buy hull rlfc.the boulevard and then ship em back to where they belong. i actualy enjoyed me sunday afternoons there.vile beer, tetley bitter in plastic glasses, but good fun. open till 17:00 sundays!!!!
just read alot of that thread with interest and more than the odd giggle. poor poor hull fc fans as they have apparently and repeatedly saved the city of hull as the leading sporting team in the city so many times through the ages. i think one post suggested that hull city should be indebted that this super league team were able to subsidise our success when we were 'struggling' in div 3 when the circle opened. the up-shot is that as local tax payers we all owe hull fc a few free pics on the wall at 'their' stadium? remind me how many were at the last play-off match last season? the one fact missing from that thread is that when hull sharks/gateshead went bust with £7 million debts (i think), i belive the council (or us the local tax player) mysteriously bought the boulevard for a similar sized over-inflated sum for the land. thus debts are cleared and the toon move into the circle. typical, hull mentality from a narrow minded local fan base. the sooner we become a club for east yorkshire rather than hull, the better nb: maybe my figures are wrong but the hypothesis of the scandal remains
AP must have really pissed off the Allams. It seems they're bent on driving him out. This vendetta has to stop. I don't particularly like RL but it is disrespectful to remove Hull Fc photos from the members areas if that's the case. This situation is damaging as it makes them appear petty and childish - I don't want the owners of my football club involved in playground antics.
Who is that then? And if it's not Hull City why aren't you where ever you think it is instead of feeding your infatuation here. I suppose if nobody there likes you or responds to you, even being told to **** off on a regular basis makes you feel you have some friends. Just to clarify that issue, you haven't.
I don't think all this is great either and I don't like rugby For better or worse both clubs represent the city of Hull and at this point in time share a stadium Mr Allam is great to have on your side and fund your club but don't upset him for any reason
I don't know much about this, but what I've heard sounds ****ing brilliant. Kick them out. I ****ing hate rugby.
It might look like childish antics, but it's actually probably the Allams just being the Allams. Reading that RL forum, it seems the Allams (as the SMC) have decided extra revenue can be made by asking Hull FC to pay to have their pictures displayed at the KC. It may look childish, but when you look at things like charging other clubs scouts to enter the KC during City matches (and other such similar stuff), it isn't just Hull FC they're doing 'childish' looking things to... instead of being childish, I think it's just their more 'cut-throat' way of gaining income. ...as a side note too, reading that RL forum and seeing Councillor Phil Webster getting involved, he stated: 1. It's worrying to see a councillor of the city having the view that a former rugby league player has done more for Hull than Assem Allam, Joseph Rank, Thomas Ferens, John Ellerman, James Reckitt etc... put together. No disrespect to Johnny Whiteley, but to think a councillor who can hold a position of power can think such a thing is ridiculous and one of the reasons this city needs rid of councillors stuck in the 1960s/70s. 2. It's also worrying to see the council's portfolio holder for finance can't spell 'behaviour' or 'personal' correctly. 3. Having read that RL forum, you can see why Assem Allam may be doing such a thing - the council have been complete ****s to him, on that forum it says Terry Geraghty is a massive Hull FC fan, FC Voices is run by Councillor Pete Allen and the lord mayor of Hull is a Hull FC fan.
Humberside are on the case .Mike White‏@mikewhitesport Aware of the claim that #HullFC pictures have been taken down from the KC Stadium. I've invited both FC & Allams to talk to me today (1/2)
Mike White‏@mikewhitesport (2/2) @hullfcofficial have already responded but are unable to comment further at this time. I'm still awaiting response from Allams' camp.
