Thanks for the warm welcome to the Danish Laudrup fans although weâre here for a special reason, as Iâm sure you all know. Made me feel like signing up for my five cents worth (excuse my English, Iâm doing my best here, ko paa isen, you know). Spending a nice Saturday afternoon on the forum, I never once saw the great hour-long documentary on the Laudrup family mentioned, so Iâd like to recommend it. It tells you a lot about how he was shaped and how he thinks. His father was a great footballer, too. The part about his brotherâs move to Scotland and his great success there sort of rings a bell with MLâs move to Wales. For all his success he may stick around longer than youâd expect if circumstances are right, Iâd say. Still, Michael Laudrup is not an easy man when crossed. The humiliation of Cruyff when he moved to Real Madrid, breaking his winning streak would make a great football movie, Iâd say. Cruyff had been a friend of the Laudrup family for years. Just Laudrupâs walking onto the grass of Bernabou at the out game with Real already on top, oh my! Only thing missing was his scoring the winning goal then. In the documentary, he admits that the Barcelona crowdâs ferocious attitude got to him. Heâd thought theyâd be more sporting about it! He got that wrong for sure. Maybe, if you want to change things, you must be a bit naïve? Many congrats with your great success!
I struggle with English let alone anything else. Had a Korean sat by me today, my attitude is that I don't care what nationality or colour you are. If you want to follow the Swans you're more than welcome here.
