wow no one wants to take 2nd place. Hull now fooked up against Brighton. Its a tough division this where anyone can beat anyone. I'm feeling happier now though

Cardiff are the only real winners today. They have gained a point on everyone

But we will probably get knocked off the top next week when we are in the FA Cup and everyone else plays in the championship

Even if we lose to Huddersfield we havent got a game on saturday because Blackburn who we was meant to play are still in the cup

None of the top 6 won this weekend.

All of the bottom 3 won.

    Got to love the Championship.

I've almost ignoring Cardiff now, fair play to them they keep grinding our results. Despite us losing (no surprise to many City fans against Peterborough) it has not turned out too badly for us afterall, glad Hull have now attacking threat up front. toothless.

Not really surprising. Bottom clubs battling for their life, top sides start to get a bit complacent.

While we've got away with this defeat, it could also be said that we could be three points clear of third and cut Cardiff lead if we'd held on to that 1-0 lead! Frustrating, but it keeps it interesting.

I can't do if's, but's and maybe's gangsta, Id go stir crazy but agree it is frustrating. I'm looking at my glass half full today after Hull fluffing it at Brighton. They really cannot score in a brothel!

I honestly am more worried about Watford than Hull. Still, we have a game in hand and superior goal difference, but like I said, we can't afford too many more slip ups.

I agree but there WILL almost certainly be slip ups from all the teams in the top 6 especially as we get into the last 10 games of the season, it will be who is the most consistent and grinds out a few results like Cardiff have done very well.
Middlesborough can't buy a win this year and will be out of the top 6 soon to be repllaced by Derby or Blackburn I think

I'd say Brighton but I think they looked quite ordinary today. Good job the opposition was so poor. <laugh>

I know Boro aren't getting the results but I thought they were quite good against us.

Yeh, we are top of the league and a shed load of points ahead of 2nd, let alone third.

What table are you looking at?

    ****ing hell

You miss a day, you miss alot. Just seen the AKCJs appreation thread on the Hull board. ****ing hell some sad people. One person especially but he is not worthy as a reply. I have given up on him now along with someone else from their board. Neither will get a reply from me regardless of what they write.

There is some very decent posters on the Hull board and some just set out to be a prat.

    <ok>

The irony of some of the posts is hilarious

I think DJ Campbell ****ing us up on Deadline day has ruined a few plans. I wouldn't have started Simpson against Brighton though. He doesn't know how to put the ball in the net anymore. It seems every game he becomes more of a midfielder. <doh>

However, if these rumours of us going for Boyd are true, then that may help us. Until then, we're relying on midfielders to score as usual.

Watford are a threat, but with them playing 2 more games than us, I think we've both got the upper hand on them.

Great Season this one, going to be down to the wire between more than 2 teams I reckon this year.

We seem to like to play midfielders up front this Season so why not?

He's played as a striker a few times for Posh this Season, and if he could play just behind Gedo, it's a dangerous front two.

    Potentially <ok>

I rate Boyd to be honest, especially at the price he's going at.

He's a bit like Gallagher though, probably the same ability too.

Gally will get you more goals but Boyd will get you more assists and effort.
