I don't think we can blame McCarthy for the mess we're in but on today's evidence I think our January transfer business might be the nail in our coffin.

I don't understand why you guys would expect to beat a top half club on their own turf or at least consider it a disaster to lose to them? Last time I checked you weren't in the relegation zone.
The disaster is not in losing today but in our form - one win in seven - and letting an eight point cushion from the bottom three at New Year drop back to just one point after this game.
we are currently and have been in potential trouble since DJ left as we have nobody who looks like scoring on a regular basis. That problem has been staring us in the face whether its after a 4-0 win or a 1-0 defeat. Goals change games and they earn you points.
