Would consider a point to be a very respectable result, Blackburn have a fantastic team on paper (but have clearly not performed as such this season) their attacking options do worry me quite a bit though. I'm gonna go for a 2-2 draw Smith & McLean _____________ Rhodes & DJ
I guess our only hope is the fact they are both poachers, if we can stop their supply we might be able to take them out of the game - that has never been our strength though so I don't doubt there will be goals! Hate to be pessimistic but I can see it being 3-2 to them, I'd be very happy with a draw
I second the 2-1 Town prediction. McG to score after thirty minutes and then Wordy to score a blinding free kick on 78. Neither Blackburn forwards will score but we lose a goal from a corner, scored by a CB.
Rhodes and DJ will be marked more heavily than Kat von D! We'll concede, but not from either of them. I agree with the 2-1 suggestion. Wordsworth on the scoresheet and maybe a cheeky header from Mr Smith.
2-0 Blackburn written all over it. I've backed Rhodes anytime DJ anytime 2-0 Rhodes anytime 2-0 DJ anytime 2-0 DJ first scorer Invested £13. PLEASE Ipswich make me lose ££££ and us win! Just have a HORRIBLE feeling they are both going to score..........
Town much the better side first half, solid at the back, Hyam and N'Daw conducting midfield. McGoldrick looked completely out of his depth but McCarthy's put McLean out wide and Murphy down the middle and we looked a lot more dangerous for the last fifteen... Edwards has had a good game but it's the back four who've impressed me the most so far. When Rovers are countering they're getting their shape back in a heartbeat. Rovers have been bloody awful though. I do wonder where goals are going to come from. Letting Scotland go looks like a mistake and we may have to rely on Chopra if we're not bringing anyone else in.
Scotland scored again, that's three in three games. Need to start with Chops instead of McLean if we want to score goals. Don't get me wrong, I want to see Chops moved on in the summer but we need someone who can score from now until then so I say give him a chance to redeem himself a bit before letting him go (unles he can prove from now until the end of the season that he is a actually worth keeping) Nouble hasn't been given a proper chance yet either.
McLean looked lively but he's not got any quality. McGoldrick was just completely out of his depth. Nouble was fantastic and Wordsworth looked good too. I don't think Chops is the answer because you've got 10 other players then fighting for the cause. I don't know if it's possible to send McLean or McGoldrick back as bring someone else in but it's that desperate up front.
