you notice a big difference in players backgrounds when they go for a 50-50 ball. out of our midfielders, ramsey and wilshere never shirk away, always going in as hard as the other man to win the ball. arteta and cazorla never really seem to go for it as much, always jumping over the players legs to get out of the way and losing the ball, or going in a bit slowly. shows the difference between spanish and english football at youth level. also the reason why the styles of play are so different.

They're saying great goalkeeping, but didn't Ramsey just hit that right at him? Looked a very poor effort to me. Cazorla and Wilshere running things, which we really needed against a Sunderland team set up like this. They'll have to come out of their shell in the second half, and our midfield should do even better. Great half for us.
Tbf Ramsey didnt have a lot of time to think about it and just hit it. It bobbled before getting to him from Girouds mis-kick. Good to see some fight in the middle, Ive been saying for weeks I think Wilshere and Ramsey can form a good partnership in midfiled and with Arteta behind we are dominating the middle.
