    Oh dear, Newcastle just leave the ball for Bale to have a clear run on goal and then the tamest of shots rolls under Krul's legs. Poor defending & goalkeeping.

    To be honest, suprised Bale is still playing after it looked like he had broken both legs and couldn't move for all of 2 minutes. Apparently a bit of magic spray sorted everything and back to full fitness now though <whistle>

    On that note, Gouffran looked a simple knock yet he looked in serious trouble, oxygen and all? Gotta be tough though, first prem goal and then possible broken leg.

    Don't think it was broken, probably bruised and at mot a small fracture.

    He was walking around on it for a min or two until he went down.

    Now another Spurs player down, Cabaye with a horrible tackle, late, studs up, caught him ust above the ankle.

    Spurs have gave Newcastle no space at all throughout the match, they've been very good in that regard.

    All three points for Spurs, which increases the gap to fourth to 10 (could be 12 if Chelsea win). With every Spurs win our challenge becomes a lot more tougher, when they have players like Bale who can win a match single handedly it's always going to be tough to catch them. They still have a tough run in but surely they look good enough to hold out and get fourth.
