If we can score early enough and make them have to come on to us, we could get behind them and repeat our score at Blackburn. They've proved they can lose the plot at the back - Millwall, Watford and Leeds all put 4 past them, and Leicester hit them for 6. I just hope we don't get that early goal and try to shut up shop for over an hour. The "battening down the hatches" principle to ride out the storm has worked well recently, but it would be daft to count on it every time - particularly against a side whose defence can be broken down by average teams like Millwall and Leeds. An City 1-0 ugly win would be another massive boost to the cause, but can we give ourselves a margin for error please?
It would be tempting to pick a team to attack and just have a right go at Huddersfield. However with 5 away wins on the bounce we should keep doing what we are at the moment. 2 wide players who act as support for the full backs and work hard to keep a clean sheet then take our chances. If we score in the 1st minute and play defensively for the other 89 so be it. Its working. If it stops working - change things. My biggest concern is the players getting complacent and switching off - theres a long way to go yet.
Oldsparkey, I would also like to play TOTAL FOOTBALL and destroy teams like Leicester are doing, i mean they are by far and away the BEST team in this League. Have to agree with Hilts though if it aint broken dont try to fix it The only game i saw us looking complacent was against peterboro and that was a massive blessing in disguise as it seems to have galvanized the team. 1 game at a time seems to be working well

I dont think we have anything to worry about, i also have gone for 3 - 0, hopefully Campbell will get 20 minutes or so and really finish them orf
when you think we can soften teams up with the likes of Bellamy, Smith, Conway and Kimbo, with the option of throwing Noone and Campbell on for the last 20 we're going to score goals late. Game management I think they call it. Put an early one away though and who knows what will happen.
