Lie detector tests are not accurate, so there would be little point of them taking one. You have been watching to much Jeremy Kyle. I do agree with you in that they got an easier ride from the press because they were professional people, though I don't believe they were in anyway involved. What motive would they possibly both have to murder there own daughter? It just seems to unlikely for me, and I don't ever recall any other case were both a mum and dad have murdered there own child. They gave the kids sleeping pills so they wouldn't wake up when they were out at a swingers party. Maddy was over dosed / took an adverse reaction. They ate her corpse and staged a kidnapping to hide the fact that they are lizard people. They have motive right up to their unblinking lizard eyes.
Who's saying they murdered her? They left her by herself while they went out with friends, she could have died in the house accidentally doing many things, i.e. falling down the stairs, or in bed. It wouldn't be beyond question for two professionals to realise they had done wrong in such circumstances and say, hide the body.

I don't believe they murdered her I do believe they gave the children sleeping pills after Madeleine asked them why they didn't come when she was crying the night before and that Madeleine died because of it. They found her body, knew they'd be in trouble and decided to cover it up. This is why Kate was seen frantically checking the pulses of the other two children that night.
