Trust us no one in Leicester is counting any chickens, we know there is a long long way to go, but we are currently going along nicely with 5 wins on the bounce in the league and our superb goal difference is worth an extra point. Could go down to the last game of the season!!! Uh oh

You've got to avoid a 9-0 defeat today to keep it that way.

Stranger things have happened, as best proven by the phrase "Emile Heskey, 62 England caps".

I was really disappointed with our performance today. Palace were doing all the basic things that we weren't, like passing to their own players. we also seemed to be using the long ball, which the Palace defence handled with ease. The only crumb of comfort is that, if we are going through the bad patch that affects every team, we are still picking up points. Hopefully we will get back to some good form in the near future. There is still a long way to go.

True NZ, but only in the second half. In the first half we were by far the better team doing all the things that Palace were doing in the second half. However I share your disappointment, so much so that it felt like a defeat at the end rather than a draw. Still, keep 27th May free, just in case!!!

Always disappointing to finish so poorly after a bright start. The first 25 minutes or so we played well and twice Vydra should have been played through on goal but the final pass was inexplicably delayed. After that we certainly faded, though Palace showed plenty of skill and moved the ball quickly. By the end there was only one team in it and you wouldn't know we were playing at home. If anything a draw was a relief and of course it would have to be Kevin Phillips popping up with the goal. If there is any such thing as a "natural goalscorer" he's it. On a more positive note, Hoban - especially considering he's been out for a few games - looked real class, though Hall continues to worry me...there didn't even feel to be much of his usual leadership qualities whe we needed them in the second half.

I thought we couldn't handle Saha - he created an awful lot and we didn't seem able to get the ball from him. What worries me is that if we do get promoted we will be up against this sort of player each week. I was also worried that we resorted to the long ball but that was as much to do with taking the pressure off the defence. FF was worrying too, I'm beginning to wonder if we have been sold a pup as a striker he doesn't seem to be able to do much striking. I hope I'm wrong as I'd love to see him score goals as he is one of ours.

I wonder how much international duty affected the match - it was in the second half we faded

FF really was poor last night, his first touch was not good and every attack seemed to break down when he was involved. First half the team really tried to get to every ball, second half it almost seemed like we were 2-0 up so didn't have to bother. I haven't felt that disappointed watching Watford for a long time. I'm still hoping to get to another match before the end of the season, lets just hope we can have 2 good halves next time.

Despite last night's poor second half showing, I am going to spend a small fortune and come over for the Derby game. Tickets for the game, ferries and hotels do mean quite a layout, so I hope that we are back to winning ways by then. It must be one of the few things we buy that we don't know what we will get for our money.

Hey Leo, here's a view that's not often aired so after reading some posts that suggest the players looked tired and your comment that International duty affected performance, what about this:

Professional footballers at this level i.e. the top 5%, are young, strong, fit and enjoy a privileged lifestyle where their whole life revolves around training and performance. Therefore feeling tired and not putting in a performance that shows drive, energy, commitment and passion, is a pathetic and lame excuse for the diabolical second half we played last night.

Palace on the other hand put in a shift and despite what that moron Holloway said in his post match interview, he was on the touch line leading by example and in my opinion made the difference.

For me, it showed how far we still have to travel before we even dream of the Premiership.

I was chuffed to be able to watch a game, it had all started so well for us. A good goal then a bit of a lucky one, we were dominating play and looked like we were in cruise control.

From 35 mins to the end it was a bit of a nightmare really. I think we were lucky not to lose 2-3 or even 2-4. We never seem to make it easy for ourselves, but I think credit to Holloway, his substitutions and change of tactics yesterday got Palace back into it. Zola didn't do much to change it in the second half when we were under the cosh, we all knew Vydra might have to come off. Chabolah got a bit battered really as Palace took control. Was it right to stay 3-5-2 all game?

We were amazing at the start yet it all faded out, Watford never fail to entertain or frustrate me when I watch them!

Also cardiff drew and Boro lost so results could have been worse for us.
